What's good, plinkers? How have you been enjoying your rimfire lately?
I just recently got this pre-GCA Marlin Model 80 for dirt cheap at a show. The magazine is a bit of finicky bitch, and the sling is kinda ratty and warrants replacement, but otherwise I'm glad I picked it up.

sold my 10/22 last year, had a wacky stock and wanted a plain jane. never got around to gettin' a new one. sadge. plinkin with my bobcat been fun doe. i like to put playing cards out real far and try to use the shitty notch sights.

I got my model 80 off a dude for free because the stock was broken and it had no finish left. Spent $50 on a stock that needed refinishing and $125 for the 12R peep sight, then rust blued it and now it's a shooter. Found a 81 at a pawn shop for $50 because I end up collecting shit in pairs apparently, it also needed a super deep cleaning and rust bluing.

Same pic I post in every rimfire thread because .22 is my bag
