I think a lot of 2A guys need to dramatically improve their understanding of the people who are anti-gun.It’s not some far left agenda in most cases. Lawyers, therapists, social workers etc are mostly coming from a pool of urban or suburban middle class people. These people see a gun and to them it might as well be a magic wand that dispenses instadeath to anyone in front of it. Most of them have never meaningfully seen firearms except for on police, many have never even touched a gun. They don’t feel in danger from people in the places they live and they don’t go where there are large animals. Arguments about self sufficiency or armed resistance to tyranny mean nothing to these people. Most of them are well meaning and will come around quickly if exposed in a controlled environment. It’s very easy to demonize or fear things you don’t understand, especially when none of your friends know about them either.
