https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyakumonogatari_KaidankaiThis Japanese tradition seems cool to participate in and I've experienced enough supernatural things to make a significant contribution to 100 stories. How do I find a group to do it with? Preferably a version where we actually tell 100 stories, stopping at 99 is lame
How many supernatural stories do you have to tell? I can't think of anything that's happened to me.

>>51362840It could be fun to tell scary stories here! It's season of ghosts, after all! Nothing supernatural has ever happened to me personally; as much as I wish it had. Here's one from my grandma:>be grandma>sometime in the 60s>staying at a hotel in Maine>half of the building was recently renovated>other half is still the same as it was in the 1800s>room is in the old half>that night, inexplicably wake up at around 3AM>get the feeling that an immense evil is in the room>look around>there's a black shadow standing in the corner>i'm too terrified to move>the shadow approaches the bed>it somehow pushes the air out of my lungs; trying to suffocate me>close my eyes and with my last breath, recite the Hail Mary>suddenly the shadow disappears>next day>having a drink at the hotel bar>talking with the bartender>don't tell him what happened last night>he's telling me about the history of the hotel>apparently there was a murder here years ago, on the old side of the hotel>he asks which room i was staying in>it was the same roomI always thought this sounded like a case of sleep paralysis, but there ya go. One candle down.
>>51364612>It could be fun to tell scary stories here!Back in the late 90s, I was taking pictures of my new kitten in my bedroom using a disposable camera.Nothing seemed unusual at the time. I was just taking ordinary pictures of my kitten playing around in the room. However, when I eventually got the film developed, I noticed something incredibly creepy in one of the photographs: right behind my kitten, peeking out from underneath my bed, was what looked unmistakably like a goddamn face. And I mean a face that was clear as day. It wasn't something I noticed while taking the picture, either. I only discovered it after getting the photographs developed. What's even stranger is that this face appeared in only ONE photograph. None of the other pictures showed anything unusual. I realize it could simply be pareidolia, but still it creeped me and everyone else who saw the photo.
