I wish I could have lived through the NicoNico era of 2000's Japan
>>51346193which is why you posted the most 2020 stoner comfyweeb trash possiblekill yourself out of /jp/
>>51346193I mean the videos are still there. Things suck now, but you can always turn your head and pretend like it's 2009 again. It's at least better than nothing.
>>51347114Sorry, it was what I had at hand and I'm too lazy to search for a more appropiate image.>>51347187Sorta, but not really, the shared experience can no longer be replicated and also old videos are constantly being erased from the internet all the time, so a bunch of the less mainstream things have been erased from the internet.
>>51348183Don't listen to him sweetie. He's just a newfag from the mid 2010s.
Who doesn't? But act how you want and make the sorts of things you want to see, and find others who feel the same and like the same, start a board or forum or other such community and bring in this. You talk of the shared experience being lost, but it can certainly be brought back again in feeling. I've felt as much with Heyuri at times, and some /jp/ threads, frequently on /f/. It may not be quite the same, japan itself, but you can certainly feel in the era online again, and the only way to bring more of it back is to push for it yourself and create more. It's doable, take it easy. <3>>51348186gay
I feel bad for young people.>>51347187This. Lurk old sites and archives of old sites, watch old stuff, play old stuff, have fun. Find people with the same interests and so.
we have nothing to do but enjoy the library that has been passed down to us

>>51368953No.
I wish I could go back in time and fix past mistakes. I would make backups before my 2007 hard disk crash. Lost a decade of early japanese personal websites and internet media. Had a huge collection of 4chan threads too, bigger than any public collection of the early days. Haa...
>>51347114Def a stoner tranny that puts "Girl failure" in their bio and has a Lain pfp. Regardless, a lot of that part of the internet got polluted with normies, and even the "non-normie" folks are usually just depressed iPad kids who never had a social life or hobbies. I see way too many people feeling identityless, so they cling to some label like "otaku" and try to figure out if they "pass" as one. It's so cringe; just do shit
>>51369282sigh those type of trannies are just norms
