Why is the USA deporting millions Mexicans and other Latin American people even though they have a good reputation and are portrayed positively in the media. The most hated immigrants are Indians by far, but only 2000 Indians were deported during Trump administration. If the Trump administration focussed on deporting all the 6 million Indians (including US citizens) most Americans including liberals would support ICE, because even liberals and women hate Indians. Messing with Hispanics has caused public outrage against ICE.

The absolute biggest nerf to the Indian and Mexican economy and practically the state of the countries as a whole are the amount of people who live their entire lives off the books. They get paid in cash for day labor, they live in black market housing, they dodge essentially all taxes, they pump money into organized crime just by living their day to day lives, they undermine the bargaining power of companies and workers who do follow regulations and workers protection and when they reach critical mass they make regulations impossible to enforce since by that point you basically have an entire separate economy existing within the economy. Illegals are forced to exist in systems like this. You either give all of them citizenship or you deport them. Those are the only viable options. Letting them just roam and build a parallel economy is the absolute worst thing you can do

Whatever profits farms and construction companies is able to cite is hollowed out by the lost tax revenue from hundreds of thousands of people who would otherwise be working in a system designed around the intent to promote growth to the whole economy rather than in a system designed around dodging taxes, paying out lower wages and build organized crime networks to accommodate black labor with housing and social services.
