okay serious question is it actually Americans getting mad at this?I ask because during the early years of social media, yes you would see Americans angry at foreign costumes like that Spanish ghost-looking thing. But I don't see that anymore and it kind of looped back on itself. Some French made a joke about the name of Chile being aave and for days it was angry latinx saying "I hate unitedstatians" even though the guy was european.I no longer use xitter but I wonder if this is the same "backlash" going on here, someone from a different country is upset and now people are mad at Americans because they think we're the offended ones
