The problem is the young are fundamentally lazy now and just watch tiktoks all day in an apartment. They cannot comprehend saving up for a house, let alone living in one. They wouldn't do maintenance, wouldn't cut the grass, wouldn't invite anyone over for a dinner party, nothing. What's the point of spending all the money when the economy is just going to tank anyway? It prevents you from moving for work and commits you to a bank.
