SAMHAIN is not HALLOWEEN.
HALLOWEEN does not come from SAMHAIN but from muttistan games and unrelated christian traditions.
Almost nothing is known about SAMHAIN and the earliest sources are from christian monks way after Ireland was christianized, it wasn't a 'european' tradition and there is nothing to support a continuity with HALLOWEEN which was born in ENGLAND and MUTTISTAN in the 18th and 19th centuries (picrel is a mutt gentlelady celebrating halloween as per tradition in her nation).
