Everyone in this country equates sociability to your value as a human being. Churchmen, parents, family, workers, teachers, they even make grandiose speeches about it; if you dont just instintictvely make friends with everyone youre basically a subhuman and being alone is always entirely your fault and you deserve to be beaten, humilliated and bullied into suicide if you dont manage to do it. Nobody believes in skill. Everyone hires upon how "friendly" you look and expects you to figure the rest on your own. If you dont look "friendly", if people dont already know you, you might as well not exist, and making anyone acknowledge you even if by accident makes you an inconvenience, an enemy, a foreign thing people will mock.I say in this country, but at times i just dont want to be human anymore. I dont know how to do these rituals. I am too stupid to play along. I dont want to try anymore, it only ever hurts.
