Is there anything that is better now, in the post Covid and AI dystopia, than in the 90's/00's? What are some copes to look forward to?

Internet connection is better, more people have access to what was previously luxury goods, more access to information, computers are much more powerful in every way, that sort of thing.
However, even with all of that, I feel like life itself haven't really gotten any better. If anything, I feel like people are less hopeful than before, less excited about everything. Or perhaps it's just me.

I mean it depends I guess for Greece I guess things are I don't know, economically we are still poorer than we were in the 90-00s, food and rent are way more expensive (I mean adjusted by purchasing power), school education system is in a really bad situation like students still use school books that were written in early 2000s, I'm not a boomer but newer generations need to step away from technology for a bit especially little kids that doomscroll all day, I could say more negative things but that's enough but overall people seem less optimistic about the future than before on some positives though utilities such as water and electricity are cheaper due to using more green energy, places now are more cleaner than beforehand less trash and ect, better roads for the most part, well internet, computers and all of that of course are better and like I don't know really much else to say

I know. They don't necessarily make things better. Matter of fact, in some ways, they may make things worse.

Objectively? Nothing
Even medicine is becoming poison to humanity, once they figure out that dopamine pill and you can just "buy" your happiness is going to be literally and unironically over
