1) country2) how am I supposed to live with no purpose?I'm so fucking depressed /b/ros I'm 29. I keep thinking about how my life turned out, how much I've fucked up, where my poor decisions have taken me I have friends from high school worth $10+ million today while I can't even afford to leave my dad's house, I can barely afford gas. I've done nothing. I've wasted three decades of life.
you gotta try connecting to multiple other machines. you see the problem at 29 is that you have set a standard for yourself and your inner circle has expectations that may revolve around mundane repetitive comfortable shit for you.my advice is focus on living life a different life, not a "better" one. I'm a nomad and whenever life gets hard or boring I just move out to another city and try new stuff.
>>225884206just get a job you whining babyif you have successful friends, ask them to hook you up
>>2258842061) India2) I am 33 and a NEET and I am in a similar but worse position than you. I don't know how to cope with life anymore. I just distract myself with entertainment.Honestly, I just wish I had friends.
My actual advice? Get into community theatre. We always need someone to carry wooden planks or mic stands. Go be useful and help your community make art
>>225884567cypriots of all people should know that focusing on getting a job is just cope considering the current world (and the fake state of cyprus) is ending soon.>>225884604why dont you go to brampton?
>>225884617everyone i know in theater wants to either kill themselves or is happy making like $100 dollars per project.
>>225884639>new worlders are mentally ill
>>225884567let me rephrase"friends" as in they were my friends in high school but I don't interact with them anymore. I have basically ghosted every single friend I've ever made at this point >>225884604move to dehradun and live in the mountainsthat's lowkey my plan, I'm going to puerto rico, just going to chill in a shack or something till I die
>>225884671i have a good life even a priviliged one at that, but i know it's not lasting more than a decade.
>>225884639>why dont you go to brampton? No money and too old>>225884685>move to dehradun and live in the mountainsNo money. And I need to help my parents.
>>225884731>i need to help my parents>too old.excuses excuses. 0 will to live.
>>225884669I may not be loaded but I'm making more now than I did as a waiter. And I enjoy the feeling of telling someone to do something and them willingly doing it. That's enough for me. I've never really thought about the Mexican theatre scene. I bet y'all get into some weird avant-garde shit. You ever done a show or just friends with some?
>>225884206>2) how am I supposed to live with no purpose?Create your own. Try to act on anything you might like.I'm tired of everything, life is shit and I don't like myself, my life and my job. But I'm still trying to find something good in the some moments of my life.
>>225884206>I can barely afford gasBtw. Wdym? Your gas prices are about the same as ours. My region has like ~$1 for 1 litre of 95.
>>225884751No. I just don't want to make stupid decisions that will cost my family tens of thousands of dollars. I have a 10 year career gap and talented Indian students in Canada are not getting jobs these days and return home with debt. What am I gonna do? Work at Tim Hortons?
>>225884752Ive acted in small school/college stuff but nowadays i just help out with production (lighting, scenography, props, etc.) cause most of my friends are into theater. And yes, most theater in my community is avantgarde bs but I enjoying seeing grassroots stuff, even if it's not very successful, mostly art for art's sake.Making more than a waiter from theater alone is imo a great thing, and especially if you feel fulfilled, are you into direction or production?>>225884880>work at tim hortons.Unironically yes, the point is finding yourself in a different place and using your spare time to connect in different ways, you are already regretting your life choices.
>>225884206wake up
>>225885040If I was Canadian I would work at Tim Hortons instead of being a NEET. But paying money to go to Canada, study a useless degree for 2 years, then work at Tim Hortons till I get kicked out destroying the little bit of familial wealth I have doesn't sound like a good idea. Unless, of course, you meant I illegally migrate there.
1. make enemies2. live to destroy your enemiesat least that's what i am doing
>>225885350No you're not. Stop LARPing.
>>225884206get blood work done and then come back here with the results or take them to a doctor to check for deficiencies. An alarming number of people are simply lacking in nutrition the body needs and that reflects in their brain chemistry. After that try exercises, nothing too complicated. Some knee pushups until you feel winded. This sometimes solves a LOT of problems. And if it doesn't then you have a data point that something else has gone wrong, the next stop is a shrink and his pills. Don't take whatever he gives you for more than a month or two. After all of this if you still feel dissatisfied try your hand at charity work, whatever keeps the body moving and the ego happy. Will this give you the happiness you've envisioned? No because that's some unachievable state you've dreamed up of and nothing in reality will match it. But it might give you contentment and that's a good enough compromise. The world is not really in a good place right now so you can't expect much to come out off of it so do SOMETHING for yourself, even the charity part is more as a selfish desire and it's fine to keep it as such. Your life is 1/4th over already anon, some milestones once missed can never be recreated so let them go and do what is still in your hands. Some small job that pays peanuts, a meaningless job. But still something that you DO.
>>225885191yes, illegally migrate.
>>225885555You're the expert. Help me out
>>225885452>>225885191>>225884731anon if you can't go to dehradun I strongly recommend you try to go to brazil and acquire a plot of land to live as a farmer. It would be a peaceful and idyllic life in a beautiful country, far from the pollution and stress of india you'd be a pioneer, virtually no indians have moved to brazil yet if you are interested in this idea and are interested in a business proposition, we could start an immigration company to send indians to brazil, getting the paperwork in order and whatnot
>>225884206You may not be comfortable with it or you might be too old, but you could look into joining the military. It's not the first choice for pretty much anyone, but I figure it is better than just sitting around jerking off all day.
>>225885586nah, I'm alright, I'm probably migrating to South America.
>>225885604>>225884617I'd rather be a suicidal NEET posting on 4chan all day than join community theater lmfao even the military is a better idea than that heaping pile of shit. imagine moving a fucking mic around and building faggy setpieces that's how you want to live?? LMFAO
>>225885628>>225885586we all NEED to illegally immigrate to brazil. I want to flood brazil with undesirable antisocial NEETs. Destroy their way of life.

>>225884206>how am I supposed to live with no purpose?Find purpose lol>I have friends from high school worth $10+ million today while I can't even afford to leave my dad's house, I can barely afford gas. I've done nothing. I've wasted three decades of life.Comparison is the thief of joy o algo
>>225884513>whenever life gets hard or boring I just move out to another city and try new stuffThats called running from your problems lol
>>225884206same as you except my brain refuses to think about it because it's too terrifying. and years pass and it gets worse
>>225885683>>wasted 1000s of hours playing games/posting onlineThat's too low.>>parents never asked me about a GFThat's a good thing. My father indirectly tells me that I should have been married by now and have kids. But I just cannot do such in modern dating "market" and economy. And yeah, I'm a KHHV 3 years younger than you. With a shitty job barely scarping to not get fired because I don't like it at all. Not to mention the whole situation in the country.I just don't care about anything and continue to live in whatever the life gives me.
>>225885040Ah yeah, we're in a similar boat. I've been acting since elementary school, was in drama club and in a local troupe. I just went back to college last year and graduated in the spring with a theater degree after a decade of going to music festivals and partying. As soon as I graduated the theatre dept at my uni offered me a job and I've been working there the past six months. I'm the technical director for our show this semester on top of my usual duties. I'd really only ever acted and danced until a few months ago and it's been a ton of fun learning the behind the scenes stuff, lighting, audio, even a little carpentry. I think I'm in a really valuable position bc very few people make the jump from onstage to backstage. The director says it gives me a valuable perspective. Even though tech week is next week and I've been working 14 hour days lugging lights up 3 flights of steps to the catwalk, I've never been happier or more satisfied with my work life. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say theatre saved me from being a destitute junkie. Glad to see another theatre person on 4chan. I wish you the best, Mexanon
moids be like>wars are no more>lose all purpose in lifelol
>>225885586>stoicpeace posting on /int/
>>225885757look at my flag, does it surprise you that I am jumping from place to place?>>225885648this.>>225885796thanks for the wishes anon. Yeah, the thing with theater is that it's incredibly diverse, production especially lets you try out a lil bit of everything, from woodwork to programming queues for lighting, mapping, stagecraft, etc. There's always work to do and everyone can hop on, every skill is valued and it gives you a sense of community. The hard thing is doing it independently which is why most stick to college or state sponsored stuff. But yeah, most of my friends see working at uni as the bluepill, they'd rather work at seven eleven or as a teacher in a private school and do theater independently.

>>225885730let me explain the business model ok we need to become experts on the brazilian visa system, I think agricultural visas might be huge but skilled worker / IT visas are the obvious play Brazil has massive farmland available for cultivation, if we can convince indian farmers to move to brazil I guarantee they'd pay at least $1000 a person for processing, they are also too stupid to ask chatgpt about visas and fill out the paperwork I'll go to India next month let's get some billboards email me at [email protected] >>225885690yea I mistakenly replied to you sorry I've had bloodwork done, I've tried zoloft and other ssri's, at some point I have to admit the problem is truly just me being a loser

>>225885452>After that try exercises, nothing too complicated.yes, physical fitness and weakness is a big part of what shaping my mental stateI've been sedentary for so many years now. My arms are as thin as twigs, I feel body aches when I move the wrong way I need to hire a personal trainer. I think nothing else would be as motivating to me as getting in shape. Getting a personal trainer for a few months, establishing good habits based directly on physical action and fitness and not some careerist / grindset "use computer" shit will help me. >>225885452>The world is not really in a good place right nowhonestly I'd disagree. I think AI tools should be enabling more people to build out their dream lives, more than ever before. as more people learn how to use these tools I think we'll be in for a massive renaissance in the coming decade, with more art and more beautiful cafes and shops and more people doing cool shit than ever before

>>225888927Anything that'll bring an income. First step is steady income and moving out. Second step is whatever the next pain point is. Recognize the things that bring you pain and work to improve them.
>>225884206Why should money matter? How have you “wasted” those decades? Socrates walked around barefoot, took no money from people for his wisdom and just talked to people all day everyday and he was happy and fulfilled. If you think the way to a good life is just fulfilling desires, then you will find them outgrowing your capacities anyway. You can’t fill a leaking barrel. Think what we consider “good” to be and try to get closer to that, rather than blindly following some made up career expectations you got from watching other people. Also what other anon said about your body is true. Exercise - it will help your mind as well, perhaps give you some fervour and drive, too.
>>225884567How did you get your first job, anon? Next month I am 23 and I have stalled on this for too long
