Even their black people have stopped innovating. The only good thing from them current is their ever non stop growing stock markets.

>>225882997>Why do they stop producing cultural products of quality?There's obviously a ton of variables here but regarding our movies and vidya I think things really went to go to shit once we really started to keep international audiences in mind and started the cool down the 'Americaniness' in a lot of our films when producing our shit. Compelling stories and peak creativity and doesn't really occur when you aren't boxed in through self-imposed restriction of era, culture, and setting. So we just end up making easy-to-sell bland fantasy and sci-fi slop and ship it out to absolute bottom denominator. And arguably the same sort of trap is beginning to occur with anime where it's beginning to become 'less Japanese' due it's immense popularity, which ironically will probably cause it to drop in quality as well. Beyond that, woke politics and barriers to indie filmmaking that weren't previously there like it was in the '90s and before is also an issue :/
