I honestly don't get why NVIDIA is so popular with gamers. AMD GPUs (especially with everything now using DX12/Vulkan and consoles having AMD hardware) make more sense for gaming. I do some CUDA shit so I make do with an NV GPU, but when I see someone building a PC purely for video games and they go with NVIDIA, I just think "what a moron" and I think they're an even bigger moron when they get one of the high end models like a 5080. These GPUs are ML/CUDA accelerators more than they are for gayming at this point.
The future will be cloud based subscription computing.

I can undervolt through the AMD software by dragging two sliders to decrease power consumption by 20% which basically makes it very cool and quiet in AAA games.
