https://youtu.be/_NAYAxOpfgs?si=xkTcfHCnpqy9NWhgWait a minute, how did this nigga learn to draw this good? Where did he find the time between playing basketball, writing a rap song, and robbing a convenience store? I've been drawing for nearly 2 decades and I'm nowhere near this good.
reaching an improvement destination is more about the number of right decisions than total decisions. time is just the space where decisions can be madeyou can get pretty decent, maybe even good, if every single decision you made moved you towards your goal and none of it was wasteddoing photorealistic drawings when you want to learn animation is very low value compared to drawing a smattering of figures and learning how to pose them in 3-dimensional spacethat's why studying with intention is important and learning just enough and not more than you need toi didn't watch the video
>>8071172i get what you're saying, i've been all over the place with studying art, i've done digi painting, real oil painting, acrylics, digi lineart, loose pencil sketches, realistic pencil portraits, then ignored faces for a long time to focus on drawing dynamic bodies, etc. this YTber is so good though, it makes me wish it was all AI generated, voice, ideas, process.
>>8071179>>8071159He's doing copies/studies, the actual art on his Instagram is lower quality
It looks like copies of ai slop, no joke. And considering you didn't notice and you've been drawing for 20 years, your cognitive resolution must be pretty low.You need a high level of cognitive resolution to get anywhere with drawing. I am not memeing you.
>>8071198>And considering you didn't noticei had my suspicion >>8071179>it makes me wish it was all AI generated, voice, ideas, process
>>8071198No I think some of them are from real manga , I think he's just taking refs from Pinterest so some of the sloppiness may be unintentional
>>8071222which one? it all looks like slop to me.
What made me realize something about art is that no matter how good you are, to you it will never be enough. While you look at other peoples art in awe, they probably think it's shit and will probably wonder about other peopls art.
>>8071159>crappy mic>3k subscribers>3k views>barely any comments>AI looking description>black guy with japanese suffix in channel nameAnon is this an ad
what's the point of getting good if everyone will just call your art AI
>>8071247That's bullshit. If you are actually able to produce finished works then you can be easily satisfied with it. It's just difficult to get to that level. I'm also satisfied with my sketches. Just because there are people better than you doesn't mean you can't like what you do.
>>8071585because i like making art
>>8071585AI is going to filter out the attention whores who only draw for recognition, leaving only the people who draw because they enjoy drawing no matter what anyone says about their art
>>8071603Some of us have standards and tastes. Not everyone is satisfied with being a deviantart degenerate, drawing sonichu inflation vore scat. Some of us want to see and create beauty. Not... whatever your standards are.
>>8071596>>8071603AI accusations aren't the same as criticism. It's not something you just power through with a thick skin out of love for the craft. Your entire career can be destroyed because some 14 year old said "no human draws like that" >only draw for recognitionIf instead of likes and views you actually just mean getting paid for your hard work at all you're a cuckold.
>>8071580I wish it was me. Black people are so good at art. Why oh why wasn't I born in the hood, drawing beautiful elf girls?
>>8071620your demotivation tactics don't work on me
>>8071620I've been falsely accused of AI before and nothing happened after I blocked the person and ignored it, I think most of the time it's just engagement bots and trolls who comment it mindlessly on everyone's art hoping for a bite and you're extremely unlikely to get witchhunted or canceled like your worst fears are telling you
>>8071585check your cognitive resolution. it's AI
>>8071682He posts his time lapses start to finish. Anything specifically off that you can point out for the class here , Sherlock?
>>8071704It's traced ai to be more specific, although the thumbnail is a straight up AI gen. Plenty of scum like this do it to "launder" the slop. If you can't see then give up on drawing because you don't have the required CR.
>>8071159>this goodIt's faux though. It seems you have low standards so that's going to stifle your growth.>>8071198Also this.
>>8071704sharty troons call anything traced ai, even trad recordingsbecause it's unfalsifiable, it's pointless to argue
>>8071159>goodMa'am, you might wanna check your eyes.
>>8071704>>8071716>>8071744>>8071707I thought something seemed a bit too good to be true. If he really could draw like his, he'd be famous for illustrations or manga already and not be stuck making YouTube videos with no online presence.bWhile there are plenty of talented underground artists like this, the lack of internet presence and the odd drawing errors in his pieces looking squashed or too short the farther you get away from the face seems a bit jarring considering how confidently he seems to lay down strokes and shaped in his process. People who can draw like this often are drawing for a decade or more and his Instagram posts look different than his YouTube work. He may be looking at AI gens of characters on Pinterest and copying them. If it's procreate or CSP, he could've just hidden the layer in the timelapse as he traced it. It's difficult to say for certain unless he draws trad or shows a recording with obs showing his color wheel and full art interface.
>>8071709>fauxshut up, it's skill. perfect execution on blank space with zero errors, correct size and placement on the first try. if you can't see that, you don't draw.
>>8071839It's faux anime. Everything there was an error before he even placed a single stroke.
Oh this guy, confirmed to be AI btw.
>>8071845Where? Not that I dont believe you
>>8071704AI time lapses are as old as AI art
