I want to get into drawing, i am considering using a ballpoint pen and a notebook, the reason being that i don't want to invest in specialized tools on a hobby i may drop, i am pretty bad at drawing, any idea how i can start?
There's always that third worlder who's better than you. Man, it's over.
>>8069530anyone can fake this now with ai
>>8069544>>8069545yeah if you wanna draw anime's like op please just don't bother
>>8069530Just start with finding a youtuber who's art videos you likeIf I started from scratch now I would do thatBut if you already think you might drop it, there is not much hope because art is a very hard hobby. You will need to put as much time as most people play shooter games each day to git guud
>>8069530finish the notebook before watching/reading any tutorial
I don't understand why everyone online is so easily impressed by a redrawn anime screenshot.
>>8069727As a low beg, I can't do that so it is impressive.
>>8069544of course there always is, westerners lost the idea of what even woman is and your mind is propagated to watch homosexual porn on TV every day...
>>8069530Despite the hivemind, the best place to start is just wherever you are. If you find yourself getting frustrated with the pen and notebook, like it starts to feel like they're holding you back and at that point you want to get better, then go get yourself a better pen and a sketchbook with good paper and whatever other toy peaks your interest. Good luck bro and have fun, just draw whatever you want to and worry about the fundamental/technical study stuff if/when you're actually interested.Side note - if you get sick of buying pens and paper, you could invest in a cheap drawing tablet and have unlimited paper and ink, assuming you enjoy that experience.
>>8069530who cares, draw with a turd on the ground for all i care, it doesn't matter what you use at all
>>8069530Cheap ball point and printer paper is all you needDraw what you like then do it from your imagination
>>8069727We all start somewhere I used to draw dbz when i started
