>>8065035I know nothing about flattening my only critique is that if you take both images together we are missing the cause of the flatening. pushed to the front against the glass rather than down makes more sense. that way the cause is obscured but it all makes sense. If she is compressed down from the glass side I would expect some kind of mechanism to be the cause even if its simply a frame and some rails or something on the edges.

I'm assuming it's not meant to be gory at all and the body is simply treated as an elastic mass for the purposes of flattening. To really sell the effect the body's volume should remain constant and try to fill the available space as it shrinks, but that might be a bit too much if the point is for the body to remain recognizable. Also, the position of her legs is a bit fucked. In the drawing her left foot ends up on top of her right thigh, which implies that she somehow crossed her legs while she was being crushed.
