Just prepare a template, a simple design that you can draw fast, like the stylized silhouette of a cat, and take it as a "trick". Something that you can draw every time, whenever you want, on any random piece of paper. Then keep adding little "trick doodles" to draw everyday. And you will acquire an effective "drawing gimmick" at least. All performative tricks work like that. Rehearsal every day till you do the trick.
