My first paintingIs it true that painting only with 2 values is good to learn?
>>8060339Typically those two values are black and white, the point is to paint the shadow shapes.
>>8060339bro purple is gay
I don't know what the fuck you think you're doing, but you need to find a good course in digital painting to follow.
>>8060339add gold details
>>8060382Good luck finding a good course that isn't just draw a bajillion boxes and cylinders for months on end before drawing a bird or whatever
>>8060339Impressive.
>>8060339this isn't two values, every time you make a stroke thats semi transparent on a white background, it becomes a lighter value. >>8060350this basically. so if you're trying to simplify a reference into fewer values, you probably want enough values to have some level of almost detail. the idea is to help you learn how much definition you can get in an object or painting with the bare minimum.silhouette is one thing but it doesn't seem like that's why you made this oneyou have at least 6 values here, make sure you're using a brush thats fully opaque if you really want to do the exercise

>>8060339do you like mine ?
>>8060339It’s a good way to start learning, helps to minimize the decision making and just focus on capturing the subject/composition well
