Thanks man! Yeah I try to make myself have fun with the figures here. Sometimes by doing dumb shit and "breaking the mold" you can discover or unlock new interesting shapes and designs. This site is great to try silly stuff.
>>8058767
I don't know it depends on the prompt and the right idea. Do you have any suggestions?
>>8058897
>their whole shtick was being the opposite of what they present. Maybe she really is the marrying type :p
I thought they are supposed to be the opposite of what society represents? I don't know, I just like that "episodic floating timeline" from traditional shows like that. Characters are presented in a unique and always resettable way, and that will not change to keep the formula being always successful. So I think that Wednesday won't ever get married, because it keeps the plot fresh and ongoing for her character, the married couple topic is taken by Gomez and Morticia, and so on. They all fulfill their function in the storytelling format.

Day 10 - I thought i could finish it all today, but i got stuck on 29, and i could only think of a jizz cookie for 30 so i guess the party rages on into tomorrow. Fuck this mystical prompt

>>8058601
I could write a 400 page essay on how horrible microns are. Ive never run out of ink because i wear down the tips first. I just shred them. Only on bristol have i been able to keep a tip. But for anything fast or sketching on copy paper, that nib is blunt after a few drawings. I blew a new 01 before i finished the Day 15 prompt. Microns lift when you erase undersketch, they also smear with markers. If you leave them uncapped they dry out in about 20 min. So if you draw slow, you race against the clock. But they are one of the few pens i found that keep pace with my spastic mark making. Other pens are too slow or smear. I have a love hate relationship with microns.

>>8059010
Time feels more valuable when you dont have it. Your friend is a fool, I saved up all my free time from the whole year so i could draw for like an hour a day only for this one month.

I used to think there was a hole in your head through your nose where you could poke your brain because of all those Egyptian brain removal techniques. >>8059370
No, you don't get it. He's far ahead in the artistic study of the brutal reality of human emotion. Most people can only get to do that by following career studies in the field of humanity like philosophy or history. They get only an approximation an "explanation" of the human psyche and emotion through other known authors and then try to understand that themselves, to later regurgitate it back to other people like them trying to "feel" that wich "hurts them so much". Artists can tap into that directly, they have access to that high voltage live wire, and they can touch it, he can feel what you can't explain and terrifies you. He's not the danger, the danger are the brutal normies who need to destroy and disassemble others to look for that morbid attraction to the most unknown of human sensibility as pain and love are. Art is an antidote for human disease, it flushes out what is in the unconscious mind of the collective human soul. And yes it should scare you and make you a better being. It makes me thing of that quote from the bible, that says that "looking at the face of god could kill you". That's what artists do they are spiritual mediums of the human brightest and darkest secrets.

>shaped by their hard defining glear?

Beyond the basic bitch idea (seriously, I thought everyone was going to do images of computer ram. I though I was so smart for doing the animal instead, lol), I think I completely screwed this one up by ruining the face.
But I thought I'd push the blacks a bit more, and am happy with the result there, at least.

desu its two days for me to do a drawing lately. i used to be able to do one a day, but too bust lately. every one takes like 2.5-3 hr, and i don't always have the time to do a sit and draw for that long in one sitting
important to remember the main purpose of inktober is to promote drawing everyday. but i respect the people who can post every day too
>>
>>8061580
>every one takes like 2.5-3 hr
You can pick up late days and scale them down in scope. But if you want the real, actual advice that will make you move if you don't have time: Forget missed days and jump right in on today's prompt when you have the time. That's the actual cheatcode

>>
DAY 13 "FLIMSY"...
>>8061580
I feel you my dude. I (kinda) got around that by drawing faster and faster. There's no way to draw "as good as you would like to" by doing that, but at least it's a viable solution. I had to make peace with that reality: the only way to draw everyday was to "shitify" my stuff till the speed variable matches the time variable in the equation. This site taught me to make peace with that, "art is for fun", and fuck what the crabs (people) say.
I never time what I draw, but this one took me 1 hour exactly, and these "inktober" ones are quite "elaborate" for what I usually do, wich are much more simpler and smaller pieces.
That's not counting coming out with the "idea" though. That's the real problem there. Coming out with ideas, can't be timed or measured. It can happen randomly, and it may be the most exciting part of the process when it "happens". But I don't have to tell you that, your pieces are like an explosion of creativity, you totally live there.

>>8061745
Aaaahhh damn it! That may be my favorite one yet.. perfection. I can't go into that dark tone with my stuff, I don't have your classy quirky storytelling style... yet.. I'll work on that...
> "try to stop the bull that's killing your gf" is one of the most underrated NTR ever. Great Job as always
THANKS ANON! Again, I couldn't see the blatant NTR undertone in the piece, I can't detach myself from the process and really "see" what I'm doing. lol
>>8061746
This is beautiful
>>8061762
And yet, this fits so nicely to the prompt of the day. Well done.
>>8061545
WOW you put so much effort and artistic passion in your stuff, great as always. If I do the "lady" one today, I'll be "up to date" on this thread and I can go back to your thread, don't worry, I got all "ready" to keep that going

>>8062260
>4 drawings in 24 hours is impressive. Saw you mentioned having to "shitify" it for speed reasons, but still cool.
Yeah, I think a good example would be this little project here >>8062306
I just did that, and I could only do the first panel (couldn't even finish it). Normally I would do the whole comic strip (5 to 6 panels aprox) in one go (1Hour) just the lineart. But to do that I need to simplify everything and literally shittify my work to allow me to do it as fast as possible and without getting burnt out. Wich, that panel did, I got fried, and I can't afford that. I only have 5 hours a day to do this. 5 hours is exactly what it takes to do a shittify version of my "style" and finish a complete comic page per day.
You say it took me 24 hours to make those 4 pics, I had no idea, but it's incredible how the numbers actually match, a 5 panel comic takes me 5 hours aprox, so the days I stopped making that, I made 4 inktober pics: 4-5 hours. Amazing, it gives me an idea of how pros surely manage their time and energy like clockwork.
BEAUTIFUL PIC!!!
>>8062269
>i love these, theyre so much fun
THANKS ANON!
Yep, I can tell how much effort must require to do the pieces you do. Wich are incredible. I try to keep mine as simple as possible, otherwise it would be impossible for me to keep up with this. I guess I try to compensate with the "storytelling" lol

Then you're nkt a souls player.
Souls players dont make excuses.
They just lock in even if it seems hard.

You'd remember this id you were actually there during the sekiro "easy mode" debacle, when everyone was rightfully calling out those who beat the game with a mod/cheat engine: they didnt juat not beat the game, they lost out on an opportunity to build grit and discipline.

If drawing really mattered to you you wouldn't be typing, you'd be moving your hands on that paper my boy

That's interesting.. do you have a personal preference in relation to art style or figure/body "type"? I do these quite randomly, without a plan or ref in mind, so, weird shit comes out most of the time lol

also, what ink drawings or comics in order to learn dimension, can i watch? i need more variety what ink and brush can do and correction of my pieces, otherwise i stay stuck.

it pains me to have a chat with the guy, who is doing those abhorrent panels. no, the flimsy part is not the safety level of the goods because the key is attached to the lock.

It is the weak heart, which, as much as it rams itself the key to open up and chains itself to it, it stays flimsy and unwilling, a rusty love lock.

i was thinking of a gentleman, who doesnt belong in the small place anymore. too slow, too old, and gentle, he is dying in this world. And still even with adjustment to meet his hunger, that ought distancing him from all, he is too big, has outgrown human and celestial roof with its church, the stars and the moon. And his first steps to break the veil are awkward and gangly as expected.

Not sure why dark souls games became a litmus test of gaming capability and why its still the case in 2026 15 years later

I struggled with bloodborne at first (it was my first game) and I still had a blast

The point of those games is to bot give up, literally git gud, and find creature solutions to problems while using youre head and reflexes

Its not all that different from grinding drawing the moment you start worrying about impressing people that's whn both became kess about a fun challenge and more about impressing faggots online

It doesn't matter how good or bad you are at dark souls and drawing, if you're doing it mainly to impress other people you're a faggot who loss

TLDR
no one cares about who's gud at a game unless you're getting paid for it
