A thread for me to share my doodles with the board, you can request stuff but honestly I barely do them. Not an artist yet so do not expect any high quality stuff in here.
Starting with the album of last month's challenge.https://imgur.com/a/month-of-mayd-alouette-361kS7D
A parody of that cute bear cub image.
>Not an artist yetwhen will you finally get to become one mariel
>>811210When i graduate from /beg/ tier, probably.
>>811123Requesting Mariel oiled up in a bikini
Seconding one with Mariel getting full nelson or mating press fucked into submission in front of a Mexican man
>>811218Nta but I consider you an artist. I am curious though, what do you believe makes an artist?
>>811235What i said on the previous, a certain level of skill. Not my plan as i do this as a hobby, but for explanation i guess it could be art good enough people would want to pay for it.Making 1 egg for breakfast doesnt make you a chef.
>>811238making 1 egg for breakfast isn't comparable when you've been doing this for years on years mariel
>>811249Do not mock my progress please, my lack of talent might be beyond noticeable but i still enjoy doing what im doing.
Did an out of character doodle. I like your works, they're very clean.
>>811258he won't even respond to this because it's "evil porn" to him or some shit even if it's something suggestive btw lol
>>811258Nice can you share the nude version? very cute
>>811191Did something for ya =)
>>811258Very cute. I like the posing.>>811260The guy just doesn’t like lewds or nudes of his characters, that’s normal for some. Why try forcing something because you want it?
>>811263he thinks all porn artists are evil and should die even if they only draw pin-ups it's very funny
>>811264If that is true, that is a tad overdramatic. Pin-ups can be clothed too.
>>811250Im not mocking your progress, I'm stating facts about the situation. Whether you take the for years progress as a personal shot or not is something you should take up with yourself deep down, my point was that you aren't just cooking an egg for breakfast, you're indulging in a hobby that you've been indulging in for years. Id also say you're intermediate, not beginner. To call yourself beg tier is to be indirectly begging for compliments at this point.
I find funny how someone is trying incredibly hard to shitpost in this thread>he says>he does>he thinksI didnt know i had some sort of personal spokesman that would interact with others for me.>>811271I appreciate that you consider my stuff of that level, and im not disregarding what you said before, MAYBE i do have a warped view of my current level but whenever i see the "intermediate" stuff other people post on /ic/ and the look at my stuff, i feel like disappearing out of shame. Also i have some sort of self impossed rule of not posting without a drawing to post to keep me practicing and im running out of stuff i havent posted here before, so expect lower response times.
>>811262Blog? Looks cute AF
Summer starts today, i hate summer.
Both are extremely deadly.
Made a silly rice eating gif this morning. Were you expecting chopsticks? Sorry, I am not a weeaboo.

>>815238TACO!
>>816181This is so fucking autistic
>>816250Nice tits. Wish there was more porn of this maid.
>>816976This would be funnier without the text
It is my birthday!!!>>816980Really? I thought it would be lacking without it.
>>817019You're 40 something and you don't consider yourself an artist yet?
>>817030You know age has nothing to do with art skill level, right?
>>817100I know that. You don't consider yourself "skilled" after drawing for so long? I don't think skill has anything to do with being an artist.
>>817103I started trying to learn how to draw in 2020, you talk like if i have spent my whole life drawing.
>>817252That was 5 years ago. You're an artist, don't let /ic/ bully you.
>>817271Why /ic/?
>>817349You know why.
>>817352I just found out why, i wish i didnt.Old drawing by the way.
>>817367I think this is the first time I saw a distressed Mariel.
>>817371Really? I mean, yeah she most of the time has a face like shes about to kill everything that moves but i have drawn her sad, happy, etc many times before.Another old drawing.
>>817367Why is she drinking cum
Requesting a naked tied up Mariel getting spitroasted while her ass is gaped by a fat dildo.
Halloween drawings!
Christmas time officially starts NOW.
I like the dark mirror concept.
>>821969Holy shit, adorable!
>>821972Thanks, yatta is very cute.
Happy new year!Lets hope this new year goes better!
>>823655how can one make art but not be an artist?
>>823768Good shit
>>823665Something something cooking an egg doesnt make you a professional chef something something.
>>823940I feel the same way as you. I've been technically "drawing" for longer than you, since I was about 12 years old I've been doodling animeslop. My doodling was always very inconsistent and unserious though, sometimes I went years without ever picking up a pencil and I never thought drawing was something I wanted to do. At most I would draw very poorly done anime faces on the margins of my papers at school and other drawings like that, forgettable stuff that mostly ended up in the trash. Fastforward and now I'm middle aged and just started drawing seriously about three or four years ago. I do not feel like an artist at all, I still feel painfully mediocre, even though other people seem to disagree.
>>823952I started way late, thats why i sometimes feel discouraged.I wish i had started drawing at 12 years old as well.
>>811123brown
>>811123I've been meaning to ask you this, what artist to you look up to or aspire to be like?
>>825552Honestly i dont have an specific artist i look up to, i sometimes try to learn from mangas and random art i see that i like, but i usually just take ideas and try to replicate them on my own way.One of my worries is sticking too close to an style i like that someone says "oh your art looks like -artist-'s style!"
>>826026>>826630Bro damdys world
>>826026cute shelly !
>>826630This looks cool!
>>826630I really like this.
>>826662>>826659>>826651>>826638Thanks.
>>827025Where did you get that from?It is a veeeeery old drawing, it also was a gif.
Mermaid: Pretty, helpful, sings for fun, sometimes saves humans from drowning, mostly harmless and curious.Siren: Deadly, aggressive, sings to lure her prey, actively targets humans, mostly dangerous and deceitful.
>>827520I need to see more siren mariel!
>>827527No, it was a limited time.

>>830264He's an annoying puritan.
>>830264namefag, by default he's a faggot
>>830264Degenerates realized they have an absolute 0% chance i draw lewds for them and they have no way to change it, so they attack instead of begging.
>>830292No, you're just an annoying faggot about it.
>>830389Yet here you are, helplessly crying while i keep posting my doodles like if you actually were expecting for me to suddenly change and become a filthy degenerate to fulfill your disgusting desires.>>830384My collection! Just noticed that the keychain is missing in that photo.
>>830464I wanna see an updated collection photo
>>830464I don't care if you draw lewd or not, don't be a fag about it.
>>830464The Snow Bunny BBC Caramelldansen
>>830479Unfortunately the keychain broke down.>>830509The what?
>>829602I like this, you can really feel the r&s squeeze effect. Good job.>>830374Neat perspective.>>830384>the piggybankKek
>>830645Thanks, im happy to hear emotions in my doodles can be felt.I kinda want to draw my own OC more, but im having that feeling of being afraid of wasting a good idea on a poor execution right now.
This isn't your maid but it reminded me of them>>830962
>>830979I have no idea what that thread is about but to be honest that character reminds me more of Pacifica from Gravity Falls.
Her sword is unbreakable but someone requested this.
Its the month of Mayd, time to draw maids for the whole month.
More maids for the month of Mayd.
Third drawing of the month of Mayd.
4th drawing of Mayd.
5th day of Mayd.
6th day of Mayd
7th day of Mayd.
8th day of Mayd.
FYI May 10th is maid day in Japan>This day is affectionately known as "Maid Day" due to a wordplay (Mei = 5, Do = 10). It is an unofficial holiday that is mainly celebrated online and in Akihabara, and special events at maid cafes and a culture of posting illustrations and photos of people in maid outfits on social media have become established.
mariel can u forgive me.. i technically did legitimately wrong you by drawing lewds of your character against your will, and I don't like having that hanging over my head.
>>831960I have done may 10th special drawings before (pic related) and might do one if i have time, been busy with mother's day preparations and friends wanting to play videogames to a point i havent even done the may 9th drawing yet, i have to do 2 drawings today after taking my mother to a restaurant.>>832048I will reply just once beause i know you wont stop bothering me if i dont, you did not only draw lewds knowing i greatly dislike them but also boasted and bragged about how fun was to mess with me by drawing lewds of my OC even after i tried to befriend you and drew your character multiple times, i will never be your friend and if you truly feel even the slightest regret then never talk to me or do something remotely related to me again.I just hope you dont pester my thread with more posts.
ye, i don't expect to be friends. it probably doesn't matter to you, but i don't dislike you in the slightest, and have remained completely uninfluenced by others opinions on you. I have never done anything with the intent of attacking or undermining you personally, so don't take anything personally. i was just having too much fun, and didn't take you seriously, but if im being objective about it, it was wrong what i was doing. the fact you even dm'd me to stop was funny to me in the moment, it seemed strange to me that you cared that much, because to me having a lewd drawn of my character seems like nothing. So for me its all fun and games, but to you, well, im lewding your character even after you sincerely asked me to stop.i'll honor your request this time. I won't draw mariel again (even though i like drawing her) or do anything related to you again, or talk to you again.
Got busy this weekend, trying to retake, might cover the missing days later.11th day of Mayd.

26th, 28-30 maids?
Palworld 1.0 hopefully soon.>>833084Read>>833035
>>833199Doesn't that mean you failed the month of may/maid? You were doing so good. Can't you just still draw them? To fill in the gaps?
>>833203Yeah unfortunately it wasnt completed, and because it wasnt completed it cannot be patched up.
>>833478>and because it wasnt completed it cannot be patched up.You only missed what, maybe 3 or 4 days? You could always draw them in june/july, aint no one gonna know or care.I think it sucks to get so close to a goal and then come up short. But I do understand that life gets in the way sometimes. You don't need to be that strict on yourself, to not draw them because you ran out of time. But I suppose maybe you don't see it as a big deal?Cute drawing btw.>>833669Reminds me of the pug champ meme. I like how the lighting wraps around the body. Did you draw both sides or mirror it?
>>833741Fuck, *pog champ.
>>833741Because no one knows or cares, it doesnt matter. Also thanks, i did mirror the basic shape for size and proportion but the sides are not exactly the same.
