The bible is just a glorified prompt to keep npcs in check with the simulation. If it were real, they wouldn’t have to force it down everyone’s throat.
>>18767852No you don't get it. Being plausible and reasonable sounding would defeat the purpose of Christianity. The purpose is that you need to trust this being for no reason other than to praise it and stroke it's ego. Otherwise it'll send you to eternal torture that magically doesn't destroy your body or nerves and thus you can't comprehend but are supposed to be scared of. Oh and if you do get into paradise nobody knows exactly why it's desirable anyway. But all your loved ones are probably not going to be there anyway but you will magically stop caring about them suffering. No there isn't a reason for that last thing either.
>>18767852Don't read it then. Hell is always an option.
>>18767872>doesn't destroy your body
>>18767852It literally says that if you think is real then you must force it down everyone's throats. That's the whole point.
>>18767992Yes. Milquetoast Christians who don’t believe in miracles, rising from the dead or in evangelizing the book are worse than genuine believers because they are fair weather about what shouldn’t be a fence sitting position.
>>18767987What the fuck? I thought we could enjoy hell and have fun burning? Should we even keep stoking those flames? Tick tock and then what? Nothing? What the fuck.
>>18767852The bible explains why shoving down everyone's throat is needed, for Adam and Eve had all the comforts in the world, and still rejected it all. Even as a metaphor, it beautifully depicts the general response of most of humanity even if God were to reveal Himself in the heavens and perform many signs before asking us to follow Him:>wait, heaven's just us praising you for eternity?>no way, I want to stay here so that I can play vidyaJesus could appear in front of you and provide all the proof you need, and yet it's not guaranteed that you will absolutely follow Him if so. This is intrinsic to the human condition and its want of choice, and is the original sin of choosing the forbidden fruit made manifest.
