The fact that Christians were kicked out of MENA by Muslims and out of western governments by liberal atheists disproves any notion that Christianity could have any sort of divine backing.
>>18767678No what really disproves Christianity is if gospels were false and the resurrection of Jesus never happened. Nothing else matters
>>18767695Of course they are false. They are full of anachronisms, get basic geographic details about 1st century Palestine wrong, and the Greek is far too adequate to have been written by men explicitly described as being uneducated (knowing enough Greek to exchange money isn't the same as being able to write eloquently).
>>18767678The Fall of Rome was a bigger existential and theological crisis compared to zutts who rule over dumps that can’t even beat Israel, or the circus that is modern liberal secularists who are already falling apart at the seams.
>>18767725Rome hasn't fall, it just moved it's headquarters.
>>18767713With all but the Pauline epistles it's suggested that none of the gospels were written down by the apostles themselves, rather they were recorded through an intermediary which listened to the particular man with the account as he spoke. If you think that's some gotchya you are just preying on people's credulity, that is how most people in the highly illiterate ancient world wrote things down. Also what geographic errors exactly? They all take place in and around cities dotting the eastern Mediterranean, the furthest afield they go is when Paul writes letters to cities in Greece. Jesus as a historical person is not even a point of contention, where any and all scholars take position, if they take a position, is an opposition to the resurrection and other assorted miracles. If you're speaking about two different people remembering an event happening at a different place or in different circumstances, that's not exactly rock solid proof the Gospels are fake.
>>18767678Christianity was already disproved centuries before Islam.
