What is /his/'s take on the D.A.R.E. program of the 90s? Was it partially effective like prohibition, or was it useless like all the bread-tubers say it was?
    >>
    >>18767573
imo useless since the only kids it redpilled were the kind who weren't predisposed to use drugs in the first place
    >>
    >>18767581

i think thats kinda the thing. it wasn't meant for inner city, non-white schools, it was meant for suburban white schools. the idea was to prevent white kids from doing drugs
    >>
    >>18767573
It worked on me at least
    >>
    >>18767585
not even that, half your (white) classmates became pathetic addicts anyway
    >>
    >>18767591

most of my classmates are better off than me, and I only smoked pot 3 times in my life.
    >>
    >>18767591
if you were loser white trash D.A.R.E. wasn't gonna convince you away from drugs
    >>
    >>18767573
one time at my sister's middle school this retard bought bullets into school (no gun though) right on the same day a cop was there to lecture the class for D.A.R.E. he arrested the kid. and that's my personal D.A.R.E. story.

    >>18767573
Eeh, it worked on me for shit like coke and heroin but not weed because even back in the 90s there were tons of weed references and stoner comedy on TV and there was already a push to decriminalize weed in my state although that didn't happen until well into the 2000s
    >>
    >>18767573
The circlejerk is that it made everyone do drugs; the boring reality is that it just didn't fix anything
    >>
If I had to guess the claim that dare increased drug use was probably a misidentification of correlation and causation since obviously officers are going to high risk schools. Also the amount of derision this very well intended program inspires is just disgusting and a sign of decline
    >>

    >Was it partially effective like prohibition
Effective in that it amplified illegal drug sale profits, yes. Same thing happened during prohibition: organized crime revolving around the substance flourished.
They used to hold a pretend-graduation ceremony and they gave our class a D.A.R.E lanyard to commemorate finishing the program in class. I wore that lanyard every time I did drugs and many people I did drugs with offered to buy it from me lol.
    >>
    >>18768787
Oh so you mean sales became illegal so that number grew, even while the overall share of sales decreased? Retardo.
    >>
    >>18768790
    >hurr durr the history of organized during prohibition in America crime is a spook
    >criminals didn't make MASSIVE fortunes during that time period noooooo
    What are you even saying?
    >>
Misinformation they and anti-drug campaigns spread only led to deaths (hyponatremia) and people not trusting them where it counted. When people do Weed, LSD, MDMA and realise that they're basically harmless in moderation, then they start pushing limits, or start not taking warnings on say Ket and kidney issues and Coke and heart issues seriously, again, they do those a few times, no issues, so they are more inclined to try harder shit.
Government drug policy has been a disaster top to bottom and it's their own making by not treating drugs rationally.

Well said, anon. Trying to scare people with misinformation always backfires in the long run

    It worked for me.
But Amerimongrels are really stupid, so they are willing to cram needles into their bodies for a high. They're willing to snort shit and live on the street for a high. Most bums I see in my area are a mix between whites or mexicans (mongrelized whites).
I don't know. I think the problem that Americans refuse ti accept is that, when most of your country is derived from country bumpkin human garbage, they're going to be predisposed to doing stupid stuff.
I don't even blame the deep state for profiteering off of this stuff because people here are absolute goyim retard cattle. Hopefully something crazier than fent comes along and starts hitting the suburbs lol

we know from prohibition of alcohol that the amount of drinking actually dropped but people make a huge fuss about the exception. Just like you are here.

    >>18768828
    let's see:
makes you useless, makes you lazy, causes heart problems, causes anxiety. Causes schizophenia
Causes a permanent increase in openmindedness making you retarded
And of course addiction. Fuck off fagot
