>>18768872The universe is broadly determinateBut, physics tells us that it's also fundamentally unpredictable, thus we effectively have free will within the framework of a determinate universe
Ahhh, so desu ka?These things never make any sense to me, I quibble with just about every question.
>>18768876>But, physics tells us that it's also fundamentally unpredictableShut up, pseud.
>>18768877I got the same retarded result. Eh
>>18768885Honestly I think I just don't really much care about philosophy. I'm not convinced that a test that would settle the "do we have free will?" question could even be designed, but that's not a stance on free will. It just doesn't seem worth worrying about. So much of philosophy seems to be just trying to axiom your way in to unattainable answers.
I got…Mencius, and…Edith Stein?I’m more aligned with Western religious philosophy than Eastern, so guess it’s time to read up on some analytical Thomism or whatever the 20th century revival of scholasticism was called. What’re y’all’s recs? I only know Stein and Alasdair MacIntyre.
>>18767146damn this test was so good
