These grocery stores made the Soviet Union piss and shit themselves and question their very existence. Not just once, but twice, first in 1959 when Khrushchev visited a Quality Foods in San Fransisco and again in 1989 when Yeltsin visited a Randall's in Texas

Rightoids don’t like to admit it because they consider it the golden age of America but the period from 1933 to 1981 was the closest the us has ever been to actual communism (not modern radical liberalism masquerading as communism).
    >>
    >>18766833

i spent a few years as the general manager of a petco, when i was in my early-mid thirties
a huge amount of my employees were young women, like 18-20, college students working part time, that sort of thing
at no point in my life before or since have i been so popular with women
during my 3 years there i had no less than 5 different girls ask me out and i could count on one hand the number of girls who didn't spend their entire shift trying to flirt with me
the married ones were the worst
    absolutely drowning in pussy

point being that women seem exceptionally weak to older male authority figures
and the fucker in this photo was probably one of the only men in this store that was staffed almost entirely with bored lonely housewives
like it was this guy managing the place and maybe a male butcher or something
i guarantee these guys were fucking their employees constantly, he probably already smashed half the women in that phoro

This was probably early 60s, it was pre-Sexual Revolution when society was still very conservative. Full-out hedonism wasn't really embraced until the 70s.

    >>

true, things changed a lot. women in the 60s were mostly expected to get married and be housewives soon after high school. by 1975 the idea of women working was much more normalized along with recreational drug use and fucking everything that moved.

you are confusing social acceptance of promiscuity with promiscuity itself
there has never been any point in human history where people didn't fuck each other every chance they got
the more sexually repressed a society is, the more strongly people feel the urge to act out
i guarantee these women with no socially acceptable outlet for their sex drives were fucking their managers at work nonstop
where do you think the stereotype of the milk man fucking bored lonely housewives came from?

these women lived at a time where it wasn't socially acceptable for them to hang out with male friends
their manager at work was probably the only man they spent time around who wasn't a family member

You're mistaken. The real part of American history that rightoids don't like to talk about is 1890-1930 because those were the years when unions and labor movements were violently suppressed by the richfags and then scrubbed from history textbooks. That's why they teach kids basically nothing about those decades in school beyond WWI and the great depression. They don't want them to know their country was ousted from their hands by jewish billionaire vampires from the gilded age.

It's a miracle we even have any labor laws at all.

The post-war period in America, specifically the late 40's and early 50's was basically a golden age of processed food. What we would consider "slop" today were at the time considered marvels of food processing, storage, and distribution, at the time with stuff like sugary cereals, frozen vegetables, boxed caked/pancakes, instant mixes, becoming wildly commercially available and being perceived as "hygienic" and futuristic. Combine these with other recent developments: the industrialization and commercialization of agriculture & stock animals, AND the American trucking industry, and you now have all the ingredients necessary for fast-food chains and these massive grocery stores to flourish.
People got so attached to processed food because they had grown up in a period where previously anything "fresh" (that you didn't produce yourself) ran the risk of food borne illnesses from expiration, contamination, or outright fraud. Large food processing and packaging companies however entered into a collaborative "race" with each other, and the Federal Government, to try and establish food regulations that would mutually benefit THEIR facilities, penalize competition, and get their products on shelves, schools, etc.
