>Taco Bell first added the Chalupa to their menu in 1999What have been the long-term historical consequences of this?
>>18765334>make a taco, except it's twice as caloric because of an extra-thick fried flatbread thing in place of a normal tortillaIt's probably responsible for more deaths from obesity than all the murders committed in the USA since 1999.
>>18765334Sigh... *unzips*
for me it's the grilled cheese burrito
>>18765334>long-term historical consequences of this?Global prosperity, it is the secret root of all worldwide success and progress in the past two and a half decades.
why do they never use the dog mascot anymore?
>>18765334Taco Bell was a key contributor to the California Mission Revival architecture style. Sadly they no longer build in this style anymore.
>>18767152Soul incarnate
>>18767152This building reminds me of something...something I feel like I was supposed to remember...it's probably nothing
>>18765334When was the cheesey gordita crunch?
>>18767150My grandma used to have an entire collection of Gidget Merchandise. They had plushes and bobbleheads, and I think one of them even made noise
>>18767178Wasn't it guy in picrel?IDK why we gotta remember him. He's iconic sure, but not that important, right?
>>18767868Remember the Elmo...
>>18765334>basically indigenous frybread as a tacoThis is not new and the historical consequences were disastrous for the indigenous a century earlier. Like, what did you expect?
>>18767169it was a different time>>18767178I'm sure you'll remember eventually
went there for lunch today and found out someone ordered 100 tacos for some eventwas pretty interesting waiting for my food and watching them making tacos and putting them into a box
>>18768860What kind of cheap corporate event orders catering from taco bell?!?
>>18768892maybe a start up? also was never mentioned what kind of event so it could have been a birthday, a video game thing, or someone really wanted 100 tacoshonestly i was wondering how the tacos were gonna stay warm? surely by the 40th or 50th taco the first few were losing their warmth
A lot of the old Mission Style Taco Bell buildings are still around. Some of them have even been repurposed into other restaurants after the Taco Bell itself shut down but you can clearly tell it used to be a Taco Bell
>>18768897pretty sure some fast food places have heating areas for that thing, then again I wasn't there so you probably would know if they had something like that
>>18768934that makes sense with heating areas but they were just putting them in a random boxhonestly should have taken a picture cause by the time i got my food and left they put like 6-8 tacos into it
