The fact that almost no Muslim objects to this is seen as even more stunning to the Western mind as well as blatant evidence of non-assimilation and fuel to the fire for those who believe no Muslims should be in the West.

When it comes to flagrant vandalism of historical statues and idols there is NO Muslim who will object to that, not even secular or moderate Muslims are against it. All will remain silent and never ever condemn it.

For ALL Muslims including even Muslim women and children beheading an old statue is simply an act as normal as breathing in fresh air or brushing your teeth. It's just a normal part of any routine. If you see an idol it must be removed. In fact a 5 year old Muslim kid will smash a 5000 year old statue apart in front of you and wonder what the problem is.

For Western people this is astonishing, that a Muslim can simply break into a museum, church or temple in your city and decapitate the idols free from condemnation from even Muslim politicians and public officials.

Because asking Muslims to condemn this act is like asking them to condemn the prohibition on eating pork or the prohibition of women to cover up. It's nonsensical to Muslims that anyone would object to this.

Idol worship is gay anyways

Why do you destroy the images of dead gods that nobody has worshipped in thousands of years? Do you think there is some magical power in it, you superstitious fool?

Its the same reason why people would burn books even though they know there are multiple copies of the books out of their possession.

There is nothing wrong with idolatry, Jews and Muslims are retards for opposing it. Nobody ever actually believed that the statue was literally the god itself but rather, a conduit of sorts to access the god. After carving the statue, they would do a ritual that they believed would link the statue to the god; the god was still believed to reside in the heavens but their essence was now present in the statue and allowed them to access the deity. This is literally no different from how Hindus view their own “idols” and is ironically how Christians view icons.

The only reason anyone thinks “idolatry” is somehow bad or inherently superstitious is because of the Abrahamic religions strawmanning them. In fact, scholars and historians had to switch to using the term “cult image” due to the negative connotations that “idol” carries today.

>"A statue? A mere object of stone crafted out to have the form and apperance of something else"
>"I NEED to destroy it, or else my 50 IQ brain will end workshipping it as a god sooner or later"
>"The black stone my religion comand me to visit and kiss? No that's totally not a idol i swear!"
Iconophobia is a unironic QI test. Somewhat smart people has no reasons to fear an innanimate object
