Our first experiences in life are about being cared for by seemingly omnipotent beings who controlled our world and will also punish us when we are wrong, those beings are our parents. I believe we internalise those experiences into our heart as we grow into adults. When we find ourselves helpless or confused, we turn to a parental figure once again just like we did when we were young. But our parents no longer appear all that powerful to us anymore so we must replace them with a new being to fill the place they once held, that being is God. This might be why people have such a natural inclination to believe in God, its a comforting reminder of how things once were.Perhaps even some animals also believe in God for the same reason, thinking of those days when some powerful being always had their back, perhaps that being never went away for them.
Yes, the Allfather, it echoes of the truth. Think about it, a man inseminates a woman and brings about a child. The man technically did create the child, but the child is in the same existence as the father. What does that have to say about God? He's not some dude outside the simulation just typing about or some guy writing a book who's beyond time who can just change the page and cut some parts out of your character and write stuff in, no he's presently existent in the same game. He's not transcendent. We don't know who the fuck created the game or the big bang. It's probably not a who.

>>18763716Our parents would never have been capable of creating the universe is what I would claim
