Without using a religious argument, tell me why I should have children on this fucked up planet of suffering?

Ultimately, what does it actually accomplish? Is what it accomplishes worth risking the pain of watching your possibly disabled child suffer for years upon years?

Whenever I think of reproducing, I remember my 5’0”, bald, male co-worker that was born autistic and with other birth defects. People treated him like shit his entire life because of how he looked. I can’t imagine watching my son endure humanity’s cruelties.

My last girlfriend was 4’10” and ugly. She had the kindest, gentlest soul. I loved her, deeply. Her appearance meant little to me. But she wanted children, and I knew what was in store if she had them with me, especially if it was a male offspring. I’m only 6’0”, so not enough to stave off her genetics.

And perhaps the saddest part is that, if I was my bald manlet co-worker, we’d have never fallen in love at all.

What a sad planet. We’re imprisoned by forces beyond our control.

Without religion, just do whatever you want. If you don't want to have children then don't.

But your genetic argument doesn't hold up. You can always get some 6'5, 160IQ gigachad sperm donor to father children for you.

You have not killed yourself yet, therefore, you have chosen to live, and you should assume that your children will make the same choice.

Just because somebody chooses something, doesn't mean it's a good decision. An junkie can choose to spend all his money on another shot.

Because contrary to your projected belief the world and life in general is good.
