And who can forget about his Asian counterpart, Mao, and his famous quote
>Real power comes from voting!
>>
>>18758756
You fags are hypocrites for not even taking the simplest and easiest steps to live the ideology you advocate for. That's the root of "muh iPhone" criticism. Also why you fags love posting that gay "yet you live in society" comic.
>>
>>18758777
Don't forget Lenin's What must be done? where he answers with "Communism, which is when the government does stuff. And the more stuff the government does the more communister it is."
>>
>>18758799
"Communism is when gay browns and poverty or something"

I would unironically buy a Pyongyang 2348 phone if the country weren’t embargoed. Same for clothing. I’d buy clothes from DPRK.

They have a trade fair every half a year where friendly countries like Vietnam and Russia send products and exchange stuff

These threads are always so funny because it’s blatantly obvious no one (not even the people defending communism ITT) has read any material at all on this. I am honestly convinced it’s bots, although I get replies when I find them early before they get filled with nonsense that drowns out anything useful.

>betrays Makhno
>betrays Kronstadt
>betrays Menshevik-Internationalists
>his successor destroys communism's credibility for a fucking century
Was Lenin just a German plant or what
>>
>>18759838
Lenin detested any form of open discussion, believed himself to be an omnipotent prophet and treated Marxism as a religion. Stalin on the other hand was more pragmatic, down to earth and had no problems with criticism (in private of course).
>>
>>18758760
You wouldn't have an Iphone under communism
You can just look at the Soviet Union, they didn't even have toilet paper, and Communist regimes today, like North Korea, have to steal phones from places like China
And communists certainly don't have empathy, see Pol Pot
>>
>>18759866
Stalin had problems with age of consent laws
But we don't talk about that because as communists we have no problem with pedophilia and encourage it
>>
>>18761808
>they didn't even have toilet paper,
they did get it eventually they just took an embarrassingly long time getting there
>And communists certainly don't have empathy, see Pol Pot
>Pol Pot
Someone who larped as a Maoist without actually understanding what it meant. Just like how Mao larped as a doctrinaire marxist while not actually reading most of what Marx wrote.
As for empathy itself I think it'd be harder to find major political groups which have actual empathy after you remove those which are obviously just performative about it.

Are there really idiots who think the Khmer Rouge was actually communist
Next you're going to say that making Quechua soup was what Marx's secret recipe in Critique of the Gotha Program that brave Comrade Gonzalo revealed to the world

The thing with Marx is that he's a social critique. He showed that capitalism was not a transhistorical behavior that men exhibited but rather a particular socio-historical system that generated antagonisms between different social groups. This in itself isn't anything crazy nowadays, but for its time it was novel. Hence, when right-wingers oppose marxism, they find it hard disagreeing with Marx's point because they're largely sociological or historical. For instance, it's not hard seeing that yes, capitalism is indeed a particular system, that it has its own logic centered on profit, and this logic creates situations in which different social categories (e.g. workers & bosses, poor consumers & profit-decision) hold antagonisms. The very obvious solution for right-wingers and anticommunists would simply be to acknowledge his critique, but explain why it has some shortcomings.

This however, would delegitimize the rabid anti-communist feeling which stems from anti-soviet sentiment. Hence, 90% of the criticisms you get from them boil down to either misinterpreting Marx, reducing marxism to the soviet-experience, or autistically focusing on certain notions whilst missing the bigger picture (i.e. LTV, plannification, teleology etc).

Capitalism is the private ownership and free trade of the means of production, which are land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship. Profit is returned to land and labor due to input demand.

We prefer to achieve any chosen end sooner (or we wouldn’t have acted). High-time preference individuals don't want to take risks, so they'd rather purchase someone else's services than do someone's job, which is why they earn less.

Socialism is literally "when the government does stuff" (lack of private ownership and free trade).
