Why didnt yahwe save him?
>>18757395What do you mean. YHWH killed him.
>Militant atheists have reached such a low and retarded level that they are now making jokes about other people's deaths, purely out of caprice and pettiness. It’s becoming increasingly difficult these days to tell the difference between an Indian from Punjab with unlimited internet access—who harbors a seething, boogeyman-like grudge against Christianity—and an atheist. also, this has nothing to do with history or the humanities, and it violates the board’s guidelines. Have a nice trip, you worm.

>>18757606He’s probably talking about the same deity since both are alternate articulations/translations of the same Hebrew word
>>18757615Well, no, because one of them is God's name and one of them isn't. That's like saying "Jesus" and "Yeeehaw-shoo-ah" are the same person. They aren't.

>>18757395Because the point was to stop jews from bullshitting about MUH ORIGINAL SIN endlessly and sacrificing stuff meaninglessly.
>>18757395I didn't realize that was a webm and I thought you meant why didn't God save Jesus, which is a fair question. The central story of Christianity is unsatisfying. He sacrifices himself to himself, because that somehow fixes the problem created by humans going against his rules. I could ask "why" on any single point of that sentence. It just seems like a garbled story, carried by the inherent attraction of a martyr figure.
>>18759690>He sacrifices himself to himself, because that somehow fixes the problem created by humans going against his rules. I could ask "why" on any single point of that sentence. The default answer is usually some spin on "God works in mysterious ways" but at that point, if his actions are unknowable, how exactly can his motivations be relevant to humans in the first place? Why even have a personal God at that point? The only thing that makes sense is that most Christians just follow along because they're afraid of death. That's the only logical explanation for this behavior
>>18757484You say this after a full year of "enjoy hell".
>>18757395That's brutal af
>>18759690>the inherent attraction of a martyr figure. No, you aren't a martyr if you come back to life, the inherently seductive thing about the story that subconsciously appeals to all the low IQ narcissists is that it is a story about how man can ascend to godhood.
>>18757484as if christcucks don't constantly use the "If your God real, why he no save this dead nigga" card constantly to disprove other religions. Its was only a matter of time before others also started using these cheap tricks.Have fun, this what online discussion has boiled down to, making fun of dead people. It'll only get worse.

Sometimes i go to mass to please my parents, they dont even force me i just want to make sure they dont think im an atheist, because ive questioned the bible sometimes. In mass there was a prayer to Mary, which, all I thought was that there is no way that a woman, however good she was and however much i respect her, who passed away thousands of years ago can help me, realistically. There was also holy water, so this is water that to my understanding some priest blessed, and there is also communion, which im not sure what its supposed to do, but its supposed to be good for you in some way. At the end of the mass I saw a guy praying for his loved one who passed away. When my grandma was in the hospital, i didnt visit her when she was still conscious. I really thought she would recover from her disease. She did not. Days away from her death I visited her. She was not conscious anymore and I cried intensely, I talked to her, hoping she could at least process some of what I told her and I deeply regretted not having done anything for her during my lifetime. This woman took care of me as a child and I didnt even pay her a visit in her last momentsI cried a lot and I prayed for her, before she died and after she did. At that moment I thought that was the only thing I could do for her, so she would be in heaven because catholics believe in purgatory and praying is supposed to help the deceased reach heaven faster. All the things ive talked about in this post are the reason why its so hard to leave religion. People will always need a tool to grieve loss, some hope, that some all powerful deity will help them with their disease and that if it doesnt, they will be in heaven, these days i think that the supernatural claims of all religions are extremely implausible, in the absence of evidence, but i still dont know what to do after all of it. I still want God's help, even though i know that religion is im sorry, in my mind, a pre enlightenment superstition and a mythology.
>>18760304Your kikegod doesn't love you. Try again.
>>18760196Dude i dont know what you were expecting, but christianity has always been giga woke. Christianity has always been for all peoples. There is a reason why they made a consistent effort to convert whites at first, native americans and blacks later, if you were looking for a religion that is only for a certain ethnic group, christianity is not for you, i promise, Judaism would be a better fit.
How any Catholic can watch this and not have their faith shaken is beyond me. I raised this issue with conservative author Alexander Boot (who is a Catholic) and he simply ignored my point and went on some rant about Richard Dawkins. I'm binge reading theology books out of spite at this point.

>>18757395>yahwethe name of God was given to the children of God for their salvation in Christ, so whatever name you choose to call your discarnate devil does not make your worship of it less hereticalAs for why that priest got killed by his idol? well, other than idolatry, he was probably teaching that dark hell-spawned demons are children of God.
>>18760792Is it not more likely that it was a random accident and that God does not exist?

>>18757395God fine-tuned the constants of the laws of physics so that the jesus statue would fall on his head and kill him.
>>18759690Humanity then: dies and that's discernably it with a vague hope of something in the futureChrist: takes on humanity and takes that humanity willingly into death. But then it becomes cosmically injust that such a man would die (Jesus is God but I'm focusing on the humanity). He is resurrected. He ascends to above. Now consider how Christians still die? Well since we are covered by Christ it in some sense becomes a cosmic injustice that we have died. This all gets resolved in the future resurrection. In other words the answer to the story is God redeeming humanity by doing it his damn self which is based.
>>18760792No, the name of God is known by everyone and that name is Yahweh. Enjoy hell for bearing false witness
>>18761267You are free to name your discarnate devil whatever you wish, and worship it to your heart's content, but to do so denies salvation for the children of God in Christ. The children of God were given the name of God for their salvation in Christ, and you can either recognize Christ, the one true living God or you can deny the resurrection.
