I strongly prefer gelbooru, but it does have issues sometimes. It doesn't actually mirror ALL the images on danbooru, and it doesn't mirror the artist tag wiki page.
The artist tag wiki on danbooru is quite usefull as it links to their social media pages of the artist.

Some builders and of course regular users have been pushing for it for years, but admins have never shown interest from what I've seen, unless something changed recently.
It's baffling that it hasn't been increased yet, easiest usability and PR win possible. The site can obviously handle it (the limit has been removed on holidays before), and overly complex searches will just hit the timeout instead.

What? No you don't. Just add the tag you don't want to the search bar with a - in front of it.
If you want to mute tags automatically without doing that it's a different story and does require premium, but you can still just remove tags from your search making it a non-issue. The more annoying part is that you can only mute a single user at any one time without prem, so if there's 2 people flooding the tags you want to look at with low quality scribbles there's fuck all you can do about it.

gelboorus only advantage is when trying to find an image from memory and describing it in detail with 5+ tags, tho ofc most images will have at least one tag wrong, and gelbooru doesn't have fully inherited tags so for example female_pubic_hair and blinde_pubic_hair could be mutually exclusive, as can bottomless and no_panties, cumdrip, cum, and cum_in_pussy etc etc and even something as simple and obvious as pussy or rating are inconsistent so having more tags to search with doesn't really help most of the time

None. Danbooru has the most dedicated taggers, an active community, and quality control. Tagging on Danbooru is also very enjoyable and relaxing. You can go back and adjust your edits within a certain timeframe and it will register as one single edit by you instead of needlessly bloating the tag history with miniscule additions.
Rule34 and Gelbooru are the only boards that are closely behind it and they're both vastly inferior. Rule34 is the worst because the tags are all over the place.

Feature Suggestion: Artist Gallery with 1 post per artist (always the latest one)
I’d like to suggest a new way to browse posts on Danbooru.
The idea is a gallery where each artist appears only once, represented by their most recent post. In other words:
Instead of showing multiple posts from the same artist in the normal timeline/gallery, each artist would have only one slot.
Whenever the artist uploads something new, the image in their slot would be automatically updated (the newest post replaces the previous one).
It would work like an “Artist Gallery”, where you basically see a visual overview of all artists, always showing their latest work.
Right now the Artists page only shows a list of names. It would be great if there was an image gallery version of it, where each thumbnail corresponds to one artist and gets updated every time they post something new.
This would make it much easier to discover new artists and keep track of who’s currently active, without the timeline getting cluttered with multiple posts from the same person.
I think this would be a really useful addition.

Imagine a "fav group" of unique artists where the artwork gets updated.
