What's in this one that differentiates it from Honey Select, or Koikatsu, or whatever other game has been copied into yet another game that they made? Is there something notably different about how the models work? Does it come with better animations? More animations?

It's true. Mods eat so much processing. Of course, we all rely on mods to make specific characters look right, though I would argue that a lot of these aren't ideal. A lot of Koikatsu cards, with the correct mods installed, are still pretty funky. Oddly-sized to force accurate proportions, things clipping weirdly, using a shit ton of accessories to force things to work and causing the game to do some weird things, etc. And of course, there's extra content that doesn't work quite right, like added poses where hands just clips through things.

This leads me to an another question for peoples' thoughts: Which Illusion game with character creation is the best one, unmodded?

The modding scene for SVS has made some huuuge advancements lately, they've figured out a way to do custom personalities and they've begun porting AA2 personalities into SVS. It'll take some time but I think SVS will eventually make for a worthy successor

I tried the character creation demo. It has improved, particularly you can make better butts, which was very needed. They have added a lot of physics, but I couldn't make boobs that sagged naturally, which is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. I am a bit on the fence about it.

Haven't played it yet but I've heard it's pretty bad, it's a watered down Sexy Beach game with fancier graphics. It's the same interact with girl to get their heart meter up until you can fuck them except this time you can't even walk around anymore. You switch between static room cameras like if you were in some FNAF game and then you click on girls to interact with them and that's pretty much it.

AI Passthrough modding is here. You know what that means. Koikatsu with AA1 and AA2 personalities and VA merged. More fleshed out personalities and dialogue. Hell, how about a text box where a character can reply at what you say. Even do what you want her to do. All with fully AI generated voicelines.

Really late reply, but I kinda got it working. My issue is none of the characters, animations or props from Aicomi are translated and the uncensor doesn't work properly for me (I'm stuck with pixels over the uncensored model).
And this is even AFTER using the HFPatch on both games.
Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes for this?
