I think petalcorp guy is a prime illustration of the pitfall of a longer form project as has been seen here over and over. You can have the idea, and the technology can deliver most of what you ask for, but script, composition, and editing are all make or break. So these gens are of fine quality individually, I guess, not really my cup of tea, but overall the whole thing just drags and drags.

So I watch this stuff and realize there's still plenty of room for talented artists to ply their trade.

All of that being said, I hope petalcorp guy continues. He could actually turn out something decent with some more practice.

There is a resolution selector node for the size of the targeted video. Usually if you do i2v you need to keep the exact ratio as the input image for the targeted video. I use an "Use Image Size" grouping from other workflows. It has two nodes, both of which you probably already have installed. First, "Scale Image to Total Pixels". Then, from that, use "Get Image Size". Drag your Load Image source to the first, from that to the second, and from those to the rest of the workflow.

I will usually crop the image in Windows photos, when you use the crop slider it will pop up standard resolutions (16:9, 2:3, etc) and use the cropped edit .
