Can someone please explain for a brainlet like me how daylight saving works with a computer and files?Like I was saving some shit up to 2am, and then when it hit 2am, it goes back to 1am, so I was freaking out that the stuff I saved would be out of order when you list files by "Date Modified" which is how I often sort things in File Explorer.Did Windows just shift the dates of all my already saved files back an hour? Does that mean nothing I save has the correct timestamps on it for like six months of the year? I still use Vista btw.Using 4chan all the threads I was in went to 1;59am but than went back to 1am...but their posts all don't shift time over back an hour to accommodate the time change like I think what happens in my PC?As long as Ive been alive I never understand how this shit works.

Your computer actually uses UTC, which doesn't have daylight savings time. it just converts everything to your timezone, so there's no issue.
