    >Lisp is a family of programming languages with a long history and a distinctive parenthesized prefix notation. There are many dialects of Lisp, including Common Lisp, Scheme, Clojure and Elisp.

    >Emacs is an extensible, customizable, self-documenting free/libre text editor and computing environment, with a Lisp interpreter at its core.

I gave treesitter another try after upgrading to 31.1, and the existence of `M-x treesit-install-language-grammar` made installing grammars a lot easier. I then tried setting up a few treesitter-based major modes with mixed results. So far, ...

    These worked OK:
    - bash-ts-mode
    - json-ts-mode
    - julia-ts-mode

    These didn't work too well:
    - just-ts-mode :: The grammar installed via `M-x just-ts-mode-install-grammar` but Emacs couldn't find it.
    - nushell-ts-mode :: It worked, but it felt slightly inferior to nushell-mode, so I went back to classic.

Also, I'm telling Emacs explicitly about which treesitter modes I want to use.
    (dolist (mapping '((sh-mode . bash-ts-mode)
    (json-mode . json-ts-mode)
    (julia-mode . julia-ts-mode)))
    (add-to-list 'major-mode-remap-alist mapping))

There are things like treesit-auto that do this for me automatically, but I wanted to be very deliberate at this early stage of my treesitter experience.
    https://github.com/renzmann/treesit-auto
There are a bunch of other modes I could try, but I think I'm going to stop here for now. It was a lot less painful than the last time I tried.

This is my first time seeing this redesign of the Almighty Lisp home page. It's pretty fancy by Lisp community standards.

Unbelievably cringe. Of all language communities I thought Lispers would know better but I guess teenage shitskins caught wind of Lisp being the "AI language" despite being an entirely different type of AI.

    Also:
    >Le llm is a force multiplier!
    But:
    >Common Lisp is your secret weapon in the age of LLMs.
Extreme cope. If you buy the premise of LLMs, everyone becomes a "common lisp programmer" and you're not special for knowing how to code in cl manually. You can just ask the LLM to use common lisp and it would do it for you.
