'no but yes' or 'yes'
Every major tech company in America has slowly been setting themselves up for their own collapse for years now. They've gotten so bloated and made all of their shit so needlessly complicated and predatory that eventually someone else will come along and blow them out of the fucking water without even having to try that hard. Because at this point you could beat most of them at literally every service and product they offer just by offering basic versions of those things that only do what you want them to and nothing else. It's literally just a matter of branding at this point. A nice logo, a catchy name, and a measly amount of startup capital is all anyone would need. Just make phones that only do the things people actually want to use their phones for. Make TVs that just connect you to your inputs or streaming services without additional ads or making the whole thing a fucked up mess of "smart features." Make platforms and services that just let people do what they want without any algorithms jerking them around. It's that fucking simple.
