It's already over for crypto. Now that every AI agent ran by every intelligence agency and hacker group is looking for bugs in exchanges and wallets everybody still "hodling" will lose it all soon. Crypto is defacto dead thanks to agents now. It's not if, but when. If you haven't already cashed out you are a sitting duck that's superglued to the floor right now.Good luck, because Satoshi couldn't account for Superintelligence.
I made $500 off doge years ago I don’t care
Whats stopping the people maintaining the wallet/exchange etc code from doing the same thing but asking AI to patch any holes it finds?
>>110212184Maybe true for online wallets, but if a security issue is found they can just fix it. Offline wallets could probably still be used after the fix. Unless it's a fundamental problem that cannot be fixed of course.
>>110213168You still need to enter the key somewhere for a transfer, unless you can make a perfect enclave you are at risk. And AI advances in math could still compromise weak keys.
>>110212826The same reason why closing the barn doors after your horses already ran out is useless.
>>110213364You enter the key into an airgapped wallet and use it to sign the transactions, and you only move the signature over to the online machine.
>>110213377Most horses (wallets and exchanges) remain safely in their stables (unhacked) though.
