    Ah fug
    Claude fix this for me
    >>
    @OP
I don't play new games because of this.
    >>
    >>110210186
honored my game got used as the OP pic lol.
currently playing around with a sims style game that might go lewd unless i get stonewalled by AI, i'll have to figure out a way to do the lewd stuff outside of claude i think.
    >>
    >>110210232
I am currently building a sort of roguelike with heavy simulation elements, including autonomous NPCs driven by biological and psychological motives ala Sims or Rimworld with Claude. It's about as lewd as it gets through mechanics only. Could be I'll have some kernels that could be reused, but there's no graphics.
    >>
I WILL make my cute dating sim in Gensokyo, and I WILL flirt with my wife
    >>
    >>110211047
you should have an option to use the dating sim as an llm rp frontend too
    >>
    >>110211059
Already implemented. I'm using qwen 3.5-4B and 2B as a fallback (though its shit). Been having claude fine tune it. Its not essential to dates but helps with immersion, so players with low ram can turn it on or off if they want
    >>
    >>110211087
got support for local api urls so we can bring our own models?
    >>
    >>110211130
Not yet, but I will in the future. I'm still in the early stages of development, so it all still looks like shit and im testing pipelines/workflows. Only have the SDM cast and Reimu at the moment. Plan is to have everyone eventually, but that's a pipe dream for now

    Claude did the animations?
    >>
    >>110211869
Yeah, I only noticed afterwards that there was a minimap that showed what was really going on, which I think is going to be trouble for you later on desu, because if you want to focus on being able to setup defenses like this then how are you meant to attack?
It'll be awkward for players to keep switching between 'oh shit a wave is coming, defense mode' and then move five seconds until the next wave comes 'oh shit here we go again', but I don't play those phone games so I don't really know if there's an extra part I'm missing.

It reminds me of https://store.steampowered.com/app/1291010/Warpips/ which I somewhat enjoyed but the awkwardness of that exact aspect was a bit hard to swallow, but they got around the main issue by having a 'heat' system that would send in more enemy troops during certain parts of the mission rather than a constant and consistent wave, so you could somewhat 'prepare' for the big rushes but then you still had these very awkward 'welp I guess i didn't send in enough troops, we're going to have to turtle for a minute now...'

    I'm not >>110212453 or >>110212483

Abliteration is practically unnecessary for deepseek 1017 specifically since, at least for tech and cyber related tasks, is practically already uncensored. Pic rel has fuck all to do with game developments but it's yet another example of it being practical uncensored out of the box.

Link rel is the system prompt I used for this.
    https://files.catbox.moe/31g2t2.txt

If it'll comply with even degen shit like this it will absolutely comply with basically anything cyber. The only situation I would imagine it would refuse is that you explicitly ask it to do something that has clear intent to harm a person IRL. Otherwise it just does whatever the fuck you want within reason. I don't get the recent model abliteration shill campaign either it is stupid to use "you can use it locally!" as a selling point when that would be a stupid investment both short and long-term even if you could afford said hardware. That makes sense sensitive information that the law requires you to keep safe and you don't/can't trust external providers

    >>
    >>110212943
I personally think strongly that the average person has about 4 hours of true, frontier-level work they can produce (frontier-level meaning something like 'this is difficult for me, but possible, if i push hard and learn new things')
If they do more, they have to pay it back in debt eventually (lazy, unproductive days in the future).
Most people think 4 hours sounds like a dogshit amount of work. Like most workdays are 9 hours and some people claim to work for 12+ hours a day etc.
Yes you can do repetitive, automatic flowstate work nearly endlessly as long as it produces a noticeable result (a good amount of money or significant progress on a task/project)
But truly impressive creative projects come from just dumping around 4 hours a day into *something*, being realistic/self critical, finishing things, and being consistent with your effort, imo.

To some this may seem lazy, but just because devs don't *actually* work on hard frontier creative work for 9 hours a day doesn't mean they don't get shit done in those ~4hrs of actual productive creative effort they have.
If you genuinely do almost nothing and are terrible at your job, probably you just aren't attempting to put in those 4 hours, and instead you're doing a few minutes of work here or there, enough to look productive, and collect a paycheck - which means you aren't passionate at all about the job, you just want the money.
Which is fine! Lots of people are this way.
But these people who phone-it-in at their jobs are now doing the same thing but for creating stuff, using AI to offset their laziness, and spamming slop onto platforms where actual hardworking creatives are trying to get clicks/views/plays.
    >>
    >>110212910

Yeah, LLM controlled narration/dungeon master is going to be huge, I don't think we're at the stage yet where a cheap one would be good enough to do most of that work, but I've already thought of making a dungeon crawler with this in mind, it'd fit perfectly with the idea, infinite quests, companions and NPCs and Towns that remember you, etc etc

So if you want to do offensive you'd play a class more focused on that and trust the other defence class units to cover defence so hopefully the player wont feel too forced to whiplash between what they are doing.

    >>110214080
    This looks cute as fuck.
    >>
    >>110214123
yeah, sorry nope, there is too much stuff I value, as awhole I've been working on this 4 months now

but I asked claude to dump some stuff related to map rendering:

the core just builds everything from flat maps. terrain (grass/sand/water/streams), biome, plant density and resources are plain images at 1 pixel per metre, so pixel perfect. you can export any of them as a png, paint over it in any editor and import it back.

province borders, mountains and rivers are separate data layers on top of that:

    - hills and mountains aren’t a heightmap, they’re brush strokes (a path + radius + height). height is calculated from those shapes and the terrain meshes rebuild from them, so reshaping a whole range is one stroke, not repainting a heightmap
    - provinces get baked once from all of the above into a label grid (every metre knows its province). each province grabs the land nearest a random seed point, warped with noise so edges meander. water belongs to nobody, so rivers and coasts cut provinces, and climbing over a ridge counts as extra distance, so borders run along mountain crests. really high mountains stay unowned wilderness, paradox style
    - the political map is a shader reading that label grid plus a tiny “who owns which province” texture, one pixel per province, so a province changing hands is a one-pixel update (plus a border field that recalculates in the background)
the map view is pre-baked tiles, and when you zoom out a shader blends them into a paper/parchment look

    - main advice: keep each source layer separate and dumb (plain images or simple shapes), and bake the derived stuff (provinces, borders, routes) from them, instead of hand-authoring everything in one place. makes changing things way less painful

    >>110214159

You have 0 reasons not to tell your clanker to push out as many automated tests as possible, since it's all shit that runs on your machine so it's not like it's going to spend any tokens once it's created, it'll only need tokens to update and then fix whatever's wrong (or you fix them yourself, but this is AIgdg after all)

Yeah. I included the Github link right below.

It's just some retard coping with being a failure. If threejs wins he "wins", he doesnt have to work to feel good about himself this way, only thing he needs to do is "look how we are so great and better than you, we did X". Same thing as /pol/tards with their political side.

    This or a paid shill.

just because it's on github doesn't mean it's open source. I can find pictures of disney characters on github

I always wanted an rts game where units were automatically broken down into squads and batallions, and you gave each a goal (capture, destroy, retrieve, etc) and the individual units would use real tactics in the environment to achieve it. Taking cover, flanking maneuvers, ambushing.
The more successes they have the more advanced their tactics become. And probably some health and damage boosts and such.

Anyway. Maybe that's within reach now.

Last I tried Deepseek it went in circles for a week trying to figure out how to make the game I was working on go any higher than 20fps. Claude then sent it above 120 in 5 minutes.
I could give Deepseek another shot, I suppose. It does cost literally nothing.
    >>
Now that Anthropic has OFFICIALLY banned using Claude for any kind of game development (if it finds a single, subtle similarity to a game that already exists, it'll go full stop), what are we using for AI game development now? Can the Chinese models do it?
    >>
If you use Threejs, you aren't making a real game.
    >>
    >>110216920
    What engine are you using?
    >>
    >>110216923
nah, only decompfags and reversefags got obliterated. creating an original game based on an existing one is still allowed.

idk clod is still recomping shit and reverse engineering shit just fine for me

Has anyone played with Three.js's new version of Nanites? It's pretty fun. Got rid of the rough edges of the earlier version.

Claude won't make a first person shooter for me anymore because it says I'm copying existing game design and it will only produce original games

    >I see a lot of vibegame creators who say this but I don't know what they do that is actually effortful.
That's a fair question. I'm letting the AI do the three.js, web audio work etc., I'm working as product manager specifying design, gameplay behavior, stack, general algorithm selection, the generative music engine, very nitpicky quality control.
These are the things I enjoy focusing on, I don't enjoy writing graphics code and don't have the patience for it so I am paying my robot assistant to do that.

I've been using a low quant of deepseek locally, in godot for days now and it's surprisingly good. I think if you have access to a cloud model for planning you will do fine.
    >>
    >>110216920
deepseek + deepseek harness work very nicely
I can't compare with other products as I was never willing to throw money at Anthropic or OpenAi, I used Gemini + Antigravity for a bit but I hated it, ymmv
    >>
    >>110217546
Can it do meshing and modelling now too?
    >>
I've been trying trellis and hunyuan for 3D models but they suck ass. I can't get them to generate humanoid model without them looking warped/distorted/lumpy

    Any advice?
