>google removed/broke the site: search operatorwhy does every company keep making things worsehow do these retards make money????
>>110208861Google gets money from ads not searches.
>>110208861They have been slowly removing/poisoning/changing the advanced search commands for over a decade now. The whole thing will be ads soon. They don’t care, everyone with technical competence and/or ethics has long since left the company and it’s just a bunch of MBA types left to squeeze any remaining $ from people.
>>110208861>>google removed/broke the site: search operatorlol i'm going to pull my own intestines out lole i love the modern internet LOL INTERNET
i have already finally started to ween myself off google. it was like an extension of my body. very difficult and very unpleasant. i am not using AI specifically to not go through this insanity again in case that shit gets "changed" in the future somehow.
>>110208861Larry if you're on here we are all going dick sucking behind the Microcenter in St Louis Park
>>110208887Google plays chess with its employees, so if you are good at your job you get moved around. That is why they have had such a history of abandoned projects. Someone does something good, and then they move them to a new project instead of letting them maintain/improve the one they started I'm sure they have moved the good employees from search over to Gemini.
and now it works for me in another browseri hate a/b testing
>>110208920> over to geminiNever heard of it
>>110208950https://gemini.google.com/app
>>110208861>how do these retards make money????branding+ stupid people
>>110208861Soon there will be no "Web Search" but only "Ask AI"
>>110208887google subscription plan inc
>>110210409There is already have a dozen different Google subscription plans for crap. They want to sell you subscriptions for YouTube, Health (formerly Fitbit), AI (Gemini), storage (Google Drive), etc.At some point they will probably make some sort of "Pro Search" subscription with all the features they used to have only now it's not free anymore.
>>110210426Google+ : all the search functions they used to have and more, as well as view access to X or Reddit without an account. 1 dollar a year
>>110208861They just commented it out in the codebase. Once this AI hype (aka SI hype to the pedophiles in government) dies out, it will just return like it was never gone.
This is good, people have unironically started to avoid Google's search engine
