Wan2gp in my honest opinion should be the ui that gets recommended newbies who are just getting introduced to local ai. forge neo, koboldcpp and unsloth desktop are also beginner friendly ui. As for the fragmentation, its really been the hardest when it comes to supporting models. The only model that are currently getting decent solid support is sdxl illustrious, anima, minimax h3, krea2 and moss. It gets increasingly hard to be willing to focus on building up tools and loras for a single newly released model if no one else is willing jump onboard to support it. There tons of new models this year on huggingface that are just basically vaporware projects with no support. Kinda feel sad for some of the devs, especially the Kandinsky. competition for people's attention both in open source and closed source space is tough to get a hold of and win over.
