>>110207562It doesn't do anything, really. They took the interface away from the PCIe cards past Ampere, and even if you did nvlink your 3090s, they never allowed memory pooling in the driver. It makes card-to-card data transfer a little faster than PCIe, that's it. It's not worth spending $100 on the connector for that. It makes almost no difference for most use cases.
