someone please explain to me how 256 bit(32 bytes) private keys are still impossible to crack
I asked AI chatbot and it says the amounts of created addresses in existence are like drops in the ocean

The understatement to end all understatements. More like individual atoms in the entire observable universe. There is no metric you can use to comprehend how many possibilities there are.
If we turned all matter in the universe into the fastest computers we have at breaking cryptography, It would still take such a long timescale that it would lose all meaning.

guess a random number between 0 and 2^256
now keep doing that until you get the number I've chosen

Encryption standards were higher back then
Nowadays, the NSA purposefully makes it so encryption standards are lower to the end of spying on targeted individuals, and that umbrella policy from the security agencies inadvertently makes it easier for malicious hackers to bypass encryption
I hate glowniggers

You got SI in your hands. Keep asking the bot you luddite

Look at how much bigger 2^20 (1048000), is than 2^10 (1024), and realize you just made it out of the teen exponents. Now consider that ipv6 is only 2^128, and it's well past enough to give every single device on the planet a public IP addr if you wanted to.

Now realize on a linear number plane you're still basically on the starting line of the number space of 2^256 with ipv6. You have to hit 2^255 just to get halfway there.

It's 7 isn't it?

It was 4, anon. You tried though.

Nothing is impossible, they're computationally expensive given estimable computing architectures in practical timeframes.

Do not ever confuse impracticality with impossibility.

And I'm telling you right fkn now that I did not fail to type the Captcha. So.
