I bought an used notebook that has a Intel vpro processor.

I installed a SATA ssd and I went into to the bios, and I was browsing the stuff there, and read that intel AMT enables remote management, and that intel AMT was enabled, and when I tried to see what is configured it asked for a password.

I was like WTF????

I click on reset everything to default factory settings, and it still asked for a password and was enabled.

Should I be worried? Can a hacker see everything i'm doing?

Yes, stuff like supervisor passwords in thinkpads and similar can't be reset and does enable remote management of some sort. Ask the seller for the password or return the item.

remove the bios battery.
