How do you guys use this board regularly without succumbing to extreme anxiety and dread that ruins your day? /g/ used to be one of my main boards back in the day but now I can't stand to look at it for more than a minute. I'm not an anxiety-prone person in general, but the current direction of computer technology is actual hell on earth nightmare shit that triggers me like nothing else. I mean genuinely how do you guys who frequent this board function while bombarded with non-stop DOOM that you can't do anything about?

But even during that era of optimism you had tech CEOs buying decommissioned missile silos and private islands. I think certain individuals have always been obsessed with the apocalypse and after the world largely kept trucking after Trump and COVID they got tired of waiting and started to force things. The current Anthropic narrative reminds me of when Marilyn Manson got tired of waiting for the race war and decided to stage a false flag attack on the Tates. They are beyond foaming at the mouth for this and you can practically see the blue balls every time one of them fires off a new ghoulish tweet.
