I mean aside from the touchscreen iPad Pros and MacBooks are the exact same hardware now, and an iPad Pro with its keyboard is exactly a MacBook, no? So the only reason they don't let iPad Pros run Mac software is so people buy both an iPad and a MacBook.

I'm still using my 13inch ipad pro 3rd gen as extended monitor at home or with blink ssh when I'm away. The secret power is the touch screen with pen for computer vision. iykyk

Surfing, youtube. Probably not much gaming as I have my Switch 2. And when traveling: editing my raw photos and cutting some 4k videos. Not sure about the actual useflow but since I store everything on an external ssd I might as well also just edit from there(?). So the files probably won't end up on the ipad storage and if then only temporary. Also copying some movies and music (lossless) for the flight.
