Apple is gonna be next ibm that will be obsolete in coming decades. There whole thing is consumer electronics for masses who like brands. Nothing cutting edge or new just oner engineering same stuff over and over.
>>
>>110186576
they literally have the best chips on the market you blathering retard, Apple silicon barely has serious competition 6 years after debut
how are these cretins mentally stuck in 2015?
>>
i mean, why do companies need vibecels? if the AI prints money itself there's no need for a human to manage it. corporations do not need AI power users.
>>
>>110186576
their chip tunes are kinda decent for your low powered devices, even though most of the design is from ARM. But yeah, apple isn't even a hardware company at this point, more like a design company

Trump is so profoundly shit that he's crashing the economy faster than AI can create abundance

Thats hardly his fault considering it's a resource blackhole.

>AI, Vision Pro, hardware management and sales teams
if i read this correctly, its AI MANAGEMENT, vision pro management and hardware management and the sales team. so really nothing of value was lost.
>Firstpost
good morning saarr
>>
>>110186636
You can always make more money. "We are making huge bucks so we don't need to fire anyone." is not something a corporation would ever consider. MAYBE in a small scale business where everyone knows each other this can happen because the CEO might have the tiniest amount of empathy for people he knows personally.
>>
>>110186658
Trump is doing his usual routine and gambling on the world stage, playing poker and bluffing through his teeth

Yeah, that won't work this time.
You can only be retarded and getting away scot-free for so long until you actually break something and this ends in an absolute disaster.

Wasn's there a point in history where one single guy owned like 15% of europe's wealth or something stupid like that? are we up to that point or not yet yet?
>>
>>110186753
Don't get me wrong I love the guy wrecking havoc and sowing chaos
>>
>>110186478
Apple's internal metrics show that AI had zero impact on iPhone sales and users were barely using AI features at all.
>>
>>110186864
Once you reach that level of wealth, you end up with different ways to measure how rich individual people actually were. Much like Elon Musk couldn't sell every single Tesla share at once for the current share price nowadays, and so technically doesn't have the money that he sort of has, neither did the various kings and emperors of the Middle Ages technically own that money either. And the Pope could probably have ordered Europe to buy things for him, so maybe he was even richer.

The really rich guy you're thinking of might be Mansa Musa, the African emperor who technically owned all the gold in his empire.

Do the m5 please, I can't find any benchmarks except ai-generated slop which claim it's the best CPU ever made in history.

Sorry but the record profits where too low against expectations, so we actually lost imaginary money. Ok?

>its AI MANAGEMENT, vision pro management and hardware management
Why would you read it like that?
>>
>>110186478
On the contrary I think Apple is the only major tech company doing things right right now.
AI is expensive, and has not proven itself to pay for that expense. Meanwhile apple can just contract with others who are footing that expense. Why develop their own?
>>
>>110186590
>they literally have the best chips on the market
Because they historically have out-bid everyone else. This was only possible because they also were one of the most profitable companies on the planet combined with their whole marketing being 'we have the best chips'. The two feedback into each other while no one else needed or wanted the best chips.

Anyone with a brain will know that AI now needs the best chips, and the AI industry has more money than Apple, they will out-bid and the next news story we're going to see is "For the first time in X years, Apple won't have the best chips in their devices". That'll be the first cut in a long series of Apple losing relevance.

This is a legitimate concept. If you invest $100 in apples and make $110, but you could have invested in oranges and made $120, you lost $10 by not making the right choice.

it's because they'll be using SI going forward

I feel like most people use Google search aka Gemini. I use Argon at work because we already pay for it, and I need it to do basic bitch shit because we are a fucking roofing company. I basically need agent mode for bitch tasks like finding invoices and uploading them to our CRM.

Sometimes these big tech companies hire a bunch of people on temporal contracts to work on a big project and let them go after, could what's happening I can't be bothered to read the article.
>>
>>110189902
It's called Opportunity Cost and people worry about it a lot.
But there's likely always something else where you could have made even more, so don't beat yourself up too much over it. If you come out ahead of inflation and your financing costs, you're already getting richer.
>>
>>110186636
just because you're profitable today, doesn't mean you will be tomorrow. and if you can be profitable with less people that is good. or are you asking companies to keep people they don't need? sounds like a daycare.
>>
>>110192200
Use "extra" people to increase revenue further, duh.
>>
>>110186636
You don't know anything about managing a company. And people like you in managerial positions are what destroys a lot of companies.
>>
>>110192908
Yes, the countless managers who don't fire people when they fuck up are what brings companies to their knees.

Wealth is not measured by money, but by the kind of power one has over other people.
Money is mostly a control mechanism for slaves.

Imagine dedicating your life to accumulating cafeteria credits for the company where you work. That's how you look to actual wealthy people.
