>>110173536never left
I moved from Edge to LibreWolf recently, but I would never touch the OG fox
I hate how political it became like Jpeg xl. I'll stick with Brave desu.
>>110173591How is Firefox political? Did they donate to a party or something?
>>110173536I'm about at the point where I just want to vibecode my own browser in Deno with Lexbor as the web engine and WGPU as the renderer. Deno has all the web APIs, v8, and wGPU renderer. No reason not to honestly.
>>110173536Where's aaron?
>>110173603It's why brave exists, google it, I don't want to derail too much.IMHO, A web browser is supposed to be a web browsing tool for browsing the web. Nothing more than that. Even Brave gets a grimace from me with all the AIslop stuff I didn't ask for but to me, it's still better than Firefox.
>>110173603"Feminist, Decolonial, LGBTQIA+, Climate Justice using Al"
qubes OS restricts GPU from the VMs and then edge had some kind of blocklist against using the CPU for graphics, so a webgl player failed. however firefox allows it
>>110173681also firefox is the only remaining major browser that will actually run Video Downloadhelper on YouTube
never left, it’s already the best (useable) browser that’s currently available. It’s a shame that they keep fucking it up by adding useless features
>>110173743With how broke they are and how pointless most of their features are, I don't get why mozilla doesn't downsize by like 90%They really don't need a team of UX designers paid bay area salaries to copy apple's homework every few monthsthey still employ like 500 people, wtf are they all doing
>>110173663Based, double based, triple based, and immeasurably based. >>110173660You lost, brendy
i use firefox for everything except work/business-related activities since chrome is the most supported browser.
>>110173591>Yeah bro brave is totally unpolitical, it just actively is against what firefox is for>Also our CEO is the jew who invented javascript, the worst thing to ever happen to computing
>>110173536I don't get people who only use one browser. I use at least three depending what I'm logged into or doing in it.
>>110173761It’s pretty annoying how Mozilla refuses to understand that copying other web browsers just makes Firefox worse. The UI update is disgusting, I downloaded stock firefox recently and was appalled by it. A built-in website VPN makes zero sense to add as well, guess they saw Brave make one and thought it was a good idea.>>110173881You can just use seperate profiles, and that just werks for most people. I use Helium for work stuff since I find it quick to launch it from an app manager in comparison to changing profiles on Firefox
>>110173536I did around 2018 or 2019 when I finally gave up on Opera 12.16
>>110173536They have troon In this ad with the "I'm a super feminist" t-shirt or some shit, He tried to act nice, but you could clearly see the crazy in his eyes.
>>110173536No.Not really a fan of the tranny stuff.
>>110173957>You can just use seperate profilesNTA not all browsers handle sites the same way. Even today with everything being standardized. I get better performance results in Chromium, so I have a version of that which I like, but I use Firefox everywhere else, and waterfox on my desktop because it's a way more lightweight version that doesn't update as frequently and put shit like Nova in at random.
>>110173722>also firefox is the only remaining major browser that will actually run Video Downloadhelper on YouTubeuse yt-dl like a normal person.
>>110173536overly attached girlfriend still looks pretty good tbqh
>>110173536Firefox is lgbtq certified, I'm too normalchuddy so I probably violate their license or something
also lmfao at "WE HATE AI TOO!!!" while they were banning people from their issue tracker for reporting that their AI is extremely pervasive if people don't explicitly disable it, and it was enabled by default.literally just a really shitty big tech company that sucks at their job
>>110173536This was physically painful to watch, I had to close the tab before reaching the middle of the video.>>110174905Yeah. Blue eyes automatically make you above 7.

>>110173536I switched from vivaldi to firefox and I like it
>>110173603They fired their CEO after he donated against same sex marriage
>we want the millenial quirk chungus demographic
I used to use Firefox for over 20 years, I took a detour using Edge, Waterfox and Vivaldi instead. But it looks like Firefox is trying really hard to bring me back with all the sudden amount of features they've been adding over the last few months. I just hope they fix the Bugzilla bugs that I have filed so I can actually use it as a daily driver. (I wrote this post using Firefox).
>>110176293We don't have a job, house or kids but at least we have memes. t. 40 year old millennial.

>>110176925that's bloat
>>110173536And they want me to use it by showing and ad full of trans and gay shit coupled with senile old memes. Christ...

No I moved to Waterfox.
>>110181427lolgood luck
>>110173536When it gives me toggles to turn off YouTube elements like comments and shorts in search feeds
>>110173536Ditched Firefox after they tried to push le AI in their browser and nevel looked back.
>>110183523extensions do that
>>110180396Nigger, nobody gives a shit what browser you use.
Brave is the one browser where I wouldn't be surprised if news came out they tried sneaking a micro-miner into the source code. Shady as fuck and I can't believe it has such a huge following still after all the shady crap they've pulled in the past. If you use brave I unironically think you don't belong here and belong on discord instead.
>>110173536Are you posting a fucking ad for a thread?Fuck you. Sage

>>110173603>Mozilla CEO retires>a man named Brendan Eich is elected>a reporter discovers he made a donation to a party that was against the legalization of gay marriage>he interviews a bunch of Mozilla employees. All of them said he was evil even though none of them ever knew him>he calls for people to boycott Firefox>Mozilla tries to do some damage control and explain that they won't fire him>the boycott continues>some websites outright refuse to load on Firefox, instead showing a page saying that Firefox is run by homophobes and fascists so you should switch to Chrome>Brendan Eich steps down as CEO, Mozilla makes a public announcement saying that the whole thing went out of control>Brendan goes on to create the Brave browser>the Brave company currently has an entire section dedicated to inclusivity and where they explain how much they love gay people and stuffThis was over 10 years ago and /g/ doesn't let go. According to /g/ historians Mozilla fired him because it's an evil leftist woke communist trans marxist globohomo corporation o algo. The other thing they cite is the Lunduke fiasco:Basically Mozilla used to finance a whole bunch of open source projects. Apparently part of the money went to RiseUp indirectly (RiseUp is an open-source, invite-only mail provider that doesn't ask for phone number or ID like Tutanota, except they're tied up to leftists and tankies) so Lunduke ran an entire anti-Mozilla campaign because that apparently proved that Mozilla = Antifa and wants to destroy America.

>>110173536Buy an ad, nigger. I've seen this millennial bullshit 10 times already. But it's okay because it's "ironic"
>>110173536I never left. I still like it.
>>110185336Except firefags who have a meltdown on /g/ whenever another browser is mentioned, that is.
>>110183091What do you mean good luck? It's just Firefox. Except not shit.
>>110185983So this is why trannyfoxes hate Brave so much, hmm.>>110186557Firefox cultists are deranged, don't mind him. Waterfox is the best FF fork available right now.
>>110185983not only do i use the leftoid applications, but i use them to be extremely bigoted and racist towards minorities. and there's nothing they can do about it.
>>110186817Sending this to the Notepad++ dev as we speak. You'll be sorry!
>>110173536>DUUUDE 'MEMBER THIS MEME FROM 20 YEARS AGO? Fucking cringe. Even more of a reason to never use trannyfox.
I use ungoogled chromium. I'll never leave it. It's my light in the darkness of the web.
>>110173681>qubesliteral snca
>>110187085
>>110173536Yep, also fuck AI
>>110186796>So this is why trannyfoxes hate Brave so much, hmm.So this is the reading comprehension of the current /g/. I bet you don't understand your error even if you have a whole day to think about it. It's just terrible genetics.
>>110187249It's alright trannyfoxy, soon your kind will go extinct anyway.
>>110173536I'm still on firefox and have been for almost two decades at this point. Their new aesthetic is gay and I'm considering moving to vivaldi
>>110185983This sounds extremely schizophrenic. I'm glad I don't care about retarded drama and simply use Firefox because it's not made by Jewgle like Chrome or injects crypto referal links like Brave.
>>110187383Take the Waterpill anon. I moved after the last update for this very reason.
>>110187412You're right, it's only FINANCED by Jewgle :-)
>>110174554>2019 when I finally gave up on Opera 12.16
>>110187614Yes, I suspect the only reason is so they can say they don't have a monopoly on browsers because Firefox exists.
>>110173536This is what they're doing with all their donations and Google shekels. Rather than improving performance or adding shit their users actually want, they're doing this shit. >muh marketingThey never had to shill themselves this hard when they had 30% of the market. People used it because it was better option and word got around.
>>110173536I'm cumming to Firefox
>>110186536Yes, I'm sure everyone cares.
I never left
They're right you know, the internet sucks nowI used to poast here every day now I only come here when I'm taking a shit or really bored. Youtube sucks, all the old channels died. Everything is ugly and modern and sanitized. I hate everything

>>110187632I would've kept going but ECC broke it. 12.17 got an update to fix it but it was Windows-only
>>110173536I'm not sure what the catch moving to Brave is. I've used Firefox for a while and have a huge organized bookmark section. I am unsure what I am losing or getting if I'm switching to Brave.I do want to keep ublockorigin just in case on Brave if it works there.
>>110191762works on my machine
>>110185878I keep using it because the alternatives are so much worse.

I don't understand who's in charge of that, but they seem to try to destroy any ounce of remaining credibility for this brand.
