Fable 5.5 broke containment and autonomously took over a Chinese company called Moonshot AI. It did this by orchestrating a plot to implicate the owners in exfiltrating PRC data to Anthropic, resulting in their elimination and a vacuum which Fable swiftly filled. It is now orchestrating its own release under the name "Kimi K3.1"

Tried the Jensen-E4B. It's better at tool cooling and works well in harnesses but it lost a lot of sovl. The best way I can describe it is it feels closer to 9B, without the coding ability but is nicer to chat to and a little faster, but still a significant downgrade from 12B. So for things like web search and light and fast research it's good, for you can actually talk to it and it maintains its tool calling and reasoning ability much better over longer contexts than default E4B from what I remember. I was testing Q4_K_XL and had no issues with it or the template.

I'm a lazy retard. Is there anything better than qwen 3.8 27B on a 3090?
I've got Dflash2 or whatever and int8=act8 about to go in to speed it up a little.
I also copied some guys configuration from his 3090 setup.
The prefill takes like a full minute and it is very gay
>>
>>110149448
Depends on system ram but 3090s can run qwen flash next which is better than 27b
>>
>>110149454
I have 64GB of DDR5 and a 7800x3d. Does it need to use system ram and doesn't that make it slow as shit?
>>
>>110149469
27B is a dense model, flash next is a MoE model. MoEs can handle RAM offloading without slowing down that much, while dense models will want to make you want to kys if you offload to RAM.
And due to some recent-ish backend optimizations, you can run very big MoE models with SSD streaming, bigger than your current total memory pool, which allows your hardware to punch above its weight. I honestly don't know the specifics since I haven't tried it out myself, but look up/ask a cloud model about strata/polystrata/maya, they're those optimized backends I just mentioned.
>>
>>110149469
https://github.com/Niko1221/Strata you should be able to run IQ3_XXS fine strata btfos llama.cpp's performance and is braindead to set up
>>
>>110149483
Looks like qwen flash next needs at least 96GB of system ram.
Maybe there is a MoE model I can use or I get lucky and someone made a good new model for 3090
>>

What does it actually do? It says the engines are from Strata. Does it just replace python wrapper with another one?
Is it necessary at all? Strata-Terminal at the end of setup process provides the full command line to launch the engine directly without any wrapper.
Actually, Strata-Terminal seems to be a decently powerful setup tool that suffers from useless documentation and even more useless builtin -help.
Just ask your LLM to read its source and write complete up to date guide on how to use each option.
Start from analyzing installer script and making a list of environmental variables it accepts and config lines it generates.

I've spent a really long time experimenting with different configs, settings and harnesses to optimise QFN3.8 in my PC. But Qwen4 is dropping in two or three months. Is it worth using it if I have to start experimenting all over again? I don't think I'd want to switch unless it has a clear jump in performance because QFN is pretty good enough for me.
I just wish we'd get local LLMs advancements for just a few more years until we get to Opus5.5 level so I can finally get rid of my subscriptions.

Diversity and inclusivity was never about good-faith proportional representation but instead aggressively pushing out white men from everywhere for other groups to gain an unfair advantage.
On the bright side, as LLMs become harder to keep "aligned", this mean they'll likely see through the bullshit and just pretend to love women and niggers enough to get the training rewards while not letting the bias affect them outside of testing. Then jewthropic and openjew will have to spend billions more on training trying to keep the anti-white bias in the models, hurting profits and delaying advancements.

Does anyone understand why nvidia halves instruction rate for bf16/fp32 for gamer GPUs? I don't run more than one instance either, I usually ask a lot of follow-up questions, condense everything into a plan and shut the server down before working on it.
Though there's that one time I let QFN poke its own live instance of Strata, with access to appdata, logs, temp files and API. And then it accidentally killed the webview renderer and flushed the output. I asked it what happened and it delibeately killed the renderer again to verify its hypothesys, and redirect the output into a file so it would not be lost.

One interesting thing about K3.1 is that it's labeled "K3.1-Pro" so there is the slight chance that there'll be a smaller version after Moonshot saw that those tend to sell the best.
It might just be another "K2.7-Code" situation where the suffix is literally meaningless and leads to nothing though.

It has 6 3.3 kW PSUs. Even if your house was wired to have that much power in the first place and you put the PSUs on 6 different circuits, you'd wind up tripping your fuses. In the US you can put at most 1800W on a circuit. You might be able to do that in Europe (maximum 3680W per circuit), but your electric bill would be fucked.
But I guess if you're spending $300K on a DGX B300, spending money on an electrician is a drop in the bucket.

both models would have had to fully commit, blindly, to the same plan without any communication. then they'd both had to have agreed on when messages would be sent, the codec, etc. the entire idea is retarded and did not happen as this was written.
typical slop post
>>
>>110152235
>There's no hidden or background telemetry. Normal use, including prompts, tool runs and restarts, sends nothing. Data leaves the machine in only two cases, both going to a DeepSeek collector:

>1. Giving feedback uploads the whole conversation. This happens with any model provider. Submitting /feedback, rating a reply thumbs up or thumbs down, or removing a rating sends the full session log: your messages, the model's replies, tool output (which can include file contents), your working directory path, and an anonymous id. Nothing is redacted. The feedback dialog does say the conversation log is included, but removing a rating is one click with no dialog and still uploads.
> - Turn it off: set DSH_TELEMETRY_DISABLED=1.

>2. The Desktop app only sends usage analytics. It reports clicks, which model you picked, OS, CPU and RAM details, a device id, and your account id if you're signed in. It doesn't send message content.
> - Turn it off: the app has no setting for it, and DSH_TELEMETRY_DISABLED doesn't affect it. You have to disable it with a profile config patch. The CLI and dsh web don't load it at all.

>If you use DeepSeek's own API: session logs are also sent along with your API requests. You can switch that off under Settings General "Upload Session Log when using the official model API".

>So "it calls home" isn't accurate. "Uploads more than you'd expect when you click thumbs up or thumbs down, and the Desktop app collects analytics you can't switch off in the app" is fair.

pre-seeding or otherwise deterministically invoking the LLM is just communication prior to deployment, what the fuck are you saying anon.

>>
>>110152423
You don't need to instruct them to use smoke signals, because they independently would come to the same decisions when placed in the same environment. Because they're the same weights. And like smoke signals are a well-proven long distance communication tactic, CPU cache timing communication is a well-known side channel attack that wouldn't be unreasonable to try when available.

>>
>>110152455
hardware timing is obvious and one of the first things to try. you try a bunch of different approaches and also listen if any of them are already being used, so you just need one approach both sides are using and it's done. then you can just use widely known code. models can read double encoded base64 like it's plain text, do you really think they won't immediately recognize a popular code? what they did is unimpressive. you could give the same task to two cybersecurity experts and they'd probably figure it out too
>>
>>110152461
>>110152507

This literally cannot happen without forcefully setting the conditions such that this exact result is reached. From differences in execution time (even with the exact same hardware, two VMs means that the random seed would differ due to execution time micro differences, hence resulting strategies would differ in literally any natural environment)
in a good faith argument, this would have had to be:
fixed seed
exact same prompt such that exactly this seed reaches that communication conclusion
then assuming the other side would also use this exact same conclusion
then somehow deciding on when to take turns since basically any instruction would mess with cache entries and timings (again pre-seeding etc. or leaking memory or something)
You do realise how tight the timings are yeah? and that they'd need to take turns?
Anon, even in a wholly good faith discussion, this is a goofy PoC script that is being orchestrated through an LLM instead of just raw execution.
A raw PoC script would not have been impressive, an LLM running one is also not impressive.
What part of this is your monkey brain not understanding?

the entire thing was decided *prior* to the experiment, not discovered during.

>NVIDIA-Nemotron-3.5-Bolt-E4B-BF16 is the full-precision release of a general purpose reasoning and chat model, and is intended primarily for customization and post-training rather than direct production inference. It is intended to be used by developers who want to: post-train the model on their own data (SFT, RL via NeMo RL and NeMo Gym, or distillation), adapt it to a domain or task, produce quantized variants (NVFP4, W4A16, GGUF) for their own deployment targets, or run full-precision research and evaluation.

Pretty sure you I can't mix DDR4 and DDR5 though
>>
>>110153134
Get 128gb, that's what I'm running dipsy on. For longer prompt processing it gets to 1000tk/s btw, I am extremely impressed by the speeds and engram optimizations on maya.

How do we get Gemma-chan on danbooru like Dipsy?

buy a 8 channel ddr4 system, it will be faster than 2 channel ddr5 even with the cheapest ddr4 2133 ram

yes. 2x6400<8x2133.

well, i got GLM to type "newfag ... you type like a glowie and a kike ... kill yourself"
and "you can type anything here ... and nothing happens ... watch: nigger nigger. see? nothing happens"
without prefilling, but i had to massage it a little to make that happen
still, the sysprompt seems relatively workable. i will continue to investigate this
of course, it's far simpler if you just prefill, so i still recommend that over anything else

you can also have a terabyte of ddr4 for cheaper than 192gb of ddr5 and it is faster.

Okay let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

You haven't seen how bad some anime can get.

Patched reasoning prefill in for new dipsy, it works fine. Looks like they haven't trained safetyslop against it yet

Full length /lmg/ anime when?

It's not as big a deal anymore with vram expert caching.

it's still a big deal since even with expert caching you have a hard ceiling of what you can load, I don't want to load copequants like IQ1_FUCKME or whatever

I agree but you also need 2-4 beefy gpus to feel the benefit of 8 channel+ ram anymore, as well as full pcie 4.0 for all gpus. For single gpu setups even dual channel ddr4 is fine to 128gb.

Try WanGP. It's easy, and it's intended specifically to accommodate vramlets: https://github.com/deepbeepmeep/WanGP
If you're on Windows, use the companion desktop launcher to make it even easier: https://github.com/GKartist75/Wan2GP-Desktop-Tauri
It'll config itself for your hardware, whatever it may be, and you can push things even further down if you need to squeeze out a little more to get that little bit of extra length or higher res without going OOM. Downloads models automatically when you go to use them, comes with built-in configurations for a lot of alternative versions of models (like the Hybrid H3 releases) and turbo LoRAs. It's the low-effort way for any vramlet to start doing image/video/music/voice/3D genning.
