>>77589724protein is the new buzzword and so the demand went way up. cant wait until the new meta comes out
>>77589724I bought a 10 pound bag of Optimum Nutrition March 2025 for $130. Now they don't have the bags, but bundle two tubs together, and it's $214
>>77589726Meant to reply to you, replied to myself instead
>>77589724faggots of /fit are wasting their whey protein. take whey for years and realize you aren't growing shit and all that money was wasted.
>>77589738OK retard
>>77589724Having a lot of protein does benefit basically anyone and for the average person 30g is so important since it is usually 50 or so if they made a point to eat protein.
>>77589738>1000 calories of carbs in an entire dayThe protein if carbs are low slows protein synthesis and metabolism when it converts protein into carbs because it is necessary for the process. Gymbros are usually more afraid of being fat than never reaching anywhere close to their potential.
>>77589738projecting your own personal experience onto other people as a broad generalization isn't healthy.
>>77589724>“oh okay I’ll just get some deenz...”>they’re fucking $4.75 a tin
>>77589728depending on the size of tubs that doesnt sound that bad. i have been using half a scoop in my oatmeal only, actual meat is the better option if i have the time. i still get my macros regardless
>>77589831>Pure isolated protein is too expensive, so I'll buy something that contains more fat than protein>The problem with this is the price.
>>77589724I bought 5kg of onions protein for 80€.
considering the fact I know a score of normies who brought whey but dont even lift, to gain weight, because they read it in a pop-sci headline etc, its a trend to be high protein, thank you huberman and all the big minds online
>>77589724just like the internet, the good times before boomers and karen's discovered it are over
>>77590021this, and now everyone hit the ozempic easy button, they need protein for the muscle waste
I quit it because around when I drank whey and skim milk routinely my adult acne started going into overdrive I hope quitting this shit will be enough to solve the issue. I also switched to fragrance free soaps and stuff. I was showering 3 times a day with harsh soaps, that's probably bad.
I stopped buying protein powder and replaced it with cottage cheese and Greek yogurt.Haven’t done the math but at least the dairy provides calories to take up some of my daily eating budget.
>>77589724the ozempigs
>>77590091Why the fuck would you shower 3 times a day.Thats so retarded it pisses me off.Literally once at the end of the day is all you need.
>>77589738Brutal pill to swallow after years of buying protein. It's hard to say if I wouldn't be as big if I didn't take it, because I'd have to run an experiment on myself and spend years not hitting protein goals and see if I make the same gains, something I'm reluctant to do obviously.Anyway, the solution is to hit the magic number of grams per day, not ingesting the magic powder thinking any amount will make you grow like steroids. When I did my last cut I obsessively hit my target and I didn't lose any strength. Should have been obsessively tracking this whole time.
>>77590096It's a Brazilian thing
>>77589855I thought it goes without saying that it's two 5lb tubs... It's almost 100% inflation.>>77590091I'm 99% sure skim milk causes that acne, not whey. On another note, I quit eating pork and almost never get a zit or pimple.
>>77590107They probably think it's gonna make them white
>>77590091Any dairy or sugar triggers mine. Thought I'd be done with it by 30 but nope.
>>77590096 I often workout 3 times a day. Why are you too brown to understand you can't let sweat linger on your skin all day?
I normally just eat meat but I've been buying some whey protein for a couple weeks, I didn't realize it was supposed to be cheaper so I looked it up. The exact kind I buy went up in price 83% since May. What the fuck.
If you would accept becoming a bear mode hybrid who lifts a lot and does cardio you wouldn't have to think about calorie dodging powders ever again. >erm actually I drink whey because I am a cancer patient who has no appetite. Oof
>>77589724I gave up desu, I just can't keep up financially
>>77590096You should read more comprehensively.
>>77590094And it contains actual nutrition and you're getting probiotics from the yogurt
Price increases seem to finally be hitting my country too. A couple of months ago I could still buy 3kg for 70€, now they no longer sell these. The tiny 600-700g packages go for almost 40€/kg.
boneless skinless chicken breast is $2/lb right now. Cook you shitters.
>>77590476It's 7.90euros/kg in Europe right now
>>77590553Buy american horror birds that have 1.2lb breasts after hatching 2 weeks ago
